Brave The Days

Pashar was young when his clan was taken, and sent into slavery with the Dunmer where he was raised by an older clan mother. He was given the name Pal’Shir, or Brave the Days, meant to be a reminder that it would all work out. The masters of the clan transliterated it to Pashar so that it would be easier for them to say, as they were not accustomed to the Khajiiti tongue. As he was a rather large Suthay-raht, they put him to work quite early in the ebony mines. Mining for years made him strong and corded, but left him uneducated and cultured only in what his clan mother could teach him in the circumstances. Branded Ebon-fur by his owners as a way of describing him, he took it as his name, making him Pashar Ebonfur. Being freed by other Dunmer looking to end slavery; he set forth to Elsweyr to be with his people, finding that he did not quite fit in for the most part. He was not as charismatic or intelligent as the traders, or as stealthy or good at lock picking like the thieves. He was good with the sword after practice and his strength made him something to behold in a fight, so he was taken to learn Goutfang and other martial arts. After this, he found work as a caravan guard but wanted more, he felt unfulfilled and bored. He was used to work, and the easy-going life of the caravan just didn’t suit him. On a stop-over in a town, he saw the art of blacksmithing, and was amazed at the amount of detail and art that went into the craft. He decided then that he would be a “maker” as he understood it, and is currently training under Qa'Han to master his craft and be the best he can.
