I remember waking in Coldharbour and giving thanks to Sithis that the torture was over. All I remembered was my scales being slowly flayed from my body, and the horror on my brother's face as he was forced by our Dunmer mistress to heal me over and over again that the mistress might subject me to her sharp blade once more. The dark waters of the Daedric cavern were cold and unfamiliar, but they were not the pathetic underground pools of the Dumner caves, so I was grateful. To swim again! To feel the water rush through my gills as it had when I was a hatchling! How terrible my life had become that I would be thankful for such a horrid place.
By the grace of the Hist, I was delivered from those caverns and now travel as a free man -- well, as free as one can be when one's heart has been stolen by a wily thief of dubious intention. Surely it was some kind of madness that lead me to Lilin, but there is nothing to be done for it. After all we have survived together, I could not imagine traveling without her. Where she goes, I will follow... probably to my grave.
OOC I'm a university professor and diehard gamer geek, roleplayer, and cosplayer. If it's nerdy, I probably like it.
