Idea: Taking Role Playing Guilds to the Next Level: Cross Guild Role Playing

With the introduction of being able to join 5 Guild in Elder Scrolls Online, it opens a fantastic opportunity to have different Role Playing Guilds interacting with one another. For example, As Skooma Dealers, we of course need to have people to deal our product too, or possibly a rival company/clan, and that's where a second guild could come in handy to collaborate with and schedule events with.

I'd like to clarify one thing, I'm not suggesting everyone in our to go and join another guild. These are going to be two or more separate guilds that don't have any connection to each other, so maybe one of the guild leaders (I volunteer myself) could join another guild to help organize such events.

I understand it would be complicated the set up but I think if we can get this working, it will help establish the Role Playing Community on the game further. I already have a contact in another Role Playing guild right now (I believe its called the Dreadwater Tavern) that I hope can get me in contact with the guild leader to pitch the idea to.

I love this. Everyone knows ESO is a ripe fruit for RP and this is exactly the sort of community knock it needs for that fruit to drop from its lofty bough and splat on our hungry hungry faces. Time to make an DC and EP alt!

Looks as if another has the same idea I had: The Arondo Alliance (Named after the character who made it) They have a RP, Trading, and PvP guild that he claims is all connected. Advertising they have an "AMAZING 250 MEMBERS BETWEEN ALL GUILDS."

Back in UO all the RP guilds on the shard used a central website/forums for the foundation of server wide RP. That was a good way to get all the goodies and baddies together. Is there something like that we can use? I feel that's important to establish along side the multi guild guild. Otherwise there is no central place for all those involved to find out what's going on, what story arcs are happening, etc etc.

Ja'Kasim used to do this in WoW and it's great. He will keep his eyes open for promising guilds.

Great idea! If you find any, let me know. It would be fun to have roleplay events going on at the same time.
