Jo'Shakirr had always thought of himself as an ordinary Khajiit. Sure he had some innate magic, but it was little more than parlor tricks. Jo'Shakirr had no father and lost his mother when he was still a young cub. He was taken in by a local clan. A clan that happened to brew skooma. The clan was fond of testing their product on Jo'Shakirr, as he was too young to do anything else and they were insistent on him being usefull if they were going to put food in his belly. Thankfully the clan brewed it right, so no one ever developed the shakes. Skooma was pleasurable to Jo'Shakirr but his innate magic made him resistant to it's addictive qualities. As he grew up he learned the ins and outs of the clan's business. Smuggling, brewing, selling, and procuring to name a few.

The clan was a den of drug dealers, sure, but they treated Jo'Shakirr well. They were family. That is why what happened next was so shocking and heartbreaking to the Khajiit. Their clan leader had at some point gotten involved with the cult of the Worm. No one could say for how long, but he eventually betrayed his clan to them. Most of them ended up in chains, including Jo'Shakirr. Soon after they were led to a ritual site deep underground. This was the day Jo'Shakirr entered Coldharbour.

After his escape and resurrection, Jo'Shakirr found that his magic had strengthened considerably. It was as if magicka was pouring into the void left inside of him after his soul was torn out by Molag Bal. Now he could channel arcane lightning, bind with dark magic, and even call up minor daedra. He decided to hone his new found magic and set off to travel the new land he had landed in. Soon after he fell into his old habits. This led him to a clan that called themselves the Blue Skooma Company. Jo'Shakirr joined them, but is still not sure if he can feel like he is in a family again after his betrayal. Time will tell.
