The human fighter stood awkwardly among the boisterous bunch of misfits that seemed to make up the bulk of the caravan. Head throbbing from too much sugared rum the night before, the drum-beat of an overly enthusiastic bard pounded upon the interior of his skull. It made him wince with every heavy thump, and the blonde edged to the far side of the caravan in a futile attempt at auditory escape.
"And who are you, new-face?" the purring thrum of a kajiiti voice at his shoulder made him turn and his hand twitched toward the hilt of his sword in a gut reaction that the cat couldn't miss. She was standing too close. Orange fur and broken black stripes made her look like a tigress, right down to the pale white chin and black tips to her rounded cat ears. She was short, and impossibly proportioned. He would have claimed the girl had been enhanced, had he not been able to glance directly down her vest and confirm that yes, they were real.
"John...Wolf," the man answered, hesitating to supply the second name.
"Wolf?" The cat stepped back and looked John up and down as if reevaluating him. "Such a name usually comes with the weight of an unusual burden."
"Yeah, well. It used to be Rosson, and then I died. I figured it was time for a change." He pulled back the sleeve on his left arm to reveal the paired silhouettes of a wolf and fox. The tattoo encircled his arm, one forever chasing the other. "It's more of a totem than a burden."
"This one sees," the cat's ears tilted forward in interest as she peered at the art, lifting her pale eyes when John pulled the sleeve down over his wrist once more. "This one wishes to know where you come from, Wolf?"
John thought about walking away at that point, but with nowhere to go but back toward the infernal drummer he decided prying questions were preferable to the endless pounding of his head. "Cyrodil. Who are you?"
"This one is Ghyra Sarin. A simple kajiit. And now we are not strange faces to one another." She smiled, curling her mouth upward tightly and wrinkling her nose before moving away to a reasonable distance and wriggling her way back into the crowd.
Shaking his head, John pinched the bridge of his nose and tried to ignore the drum.

OOC Information
Hi! Glad to be in a dedicated RP guild, thank you for having me! My user name is @Calomel, which is also the name of my main who (sadly) refuses to be part of Blue Skooma for moral reasons. I really enjoy roleplay and spend most of my time in-character when in the game. I don't mind OOC fun, but I am happiest in the middle of an RP. I used to play WoW and Blizzard owned my $15/month for over 8 years. But there was never quite enough immersion for me and toward the end I was just waiting around for the next thing. I think I've found that in ESO and it's a good feeling. I am RL friends with @Towim (Sumar) and we have done free-form RP together for years.
The two characters I'll be using the most in Blue Skooma Company will be John Wolf and Ghyra Sarin. In his ESO incarnation, John is an Imperial from the lower classes who failed to escape Cyrodil and was sacrificed to Molag Bal. Now soul-shriven, his ultimate goal is to spit in the face of the Lord of Schemes, no matter what that takes. An unfortunate and violent encounter with a werewolf shortly after escaping Coldharbor left him infected and scarred. He went feral, a fact that he isn't proud of, and was hunted down, then treated/saved/brought back to humanity by a ranger named Delgar. He doesn't like talking about it, though the wolf has become something of a totem animal for him after joining Brackenleaf's Briars. It was that, not the disease, that prompted him to change his name from Rosson to Wolf.
Ghyra Sarin is a kajiiti sorcerer and alchemist. She thrives on the underbelly of society, dabbling in dark magic and borderline daedra worship, a fine fit for the upcoming Thieves Guild or Dark Brotherhood questlines. Her character is mostly under development, so that's all I've got on her.
