"Please, come in," the voice beckons you from behind the door.
As you enter the room, the smell of Lotus overpowers your senses. Stacks of parchment, maps, diagrams, and charts are scattered throughout the room in small piles, and a few empty ink bottles stand tightly packed together on the desk. A handful of bound letters stand ready for pickup from the courier, addressed to various officials and leaders throughout the Dominion.
Ebongale is furiously at work, the occasional scratch of quill meeting parchment filling the otherwise silent air. He finishes his sentence with an over-exaggerated "tap" as he applies the final period of his statement. He puts the quill into his ink bottle and looks up at you.
"This one is most pleased to see you," Ebongale moves the parchment to the side carefully (as not to smudge the fresh ink). "When Ebongale heard your questions and concerns, he realized that they were not new to his ears; indeed, more than one of our new associates has come to this one seeking the same things you seek."
Ebongale rises, his chair dragging on the floor as it is pushed backward slightly.
"You see, this one finds that when a company has problems, it is not the company that is the underlying problem itself." Ebongale turns and meanders over to a cabinet in the corner of the office. "What is a company, exactly? It's a group of people, brought together for a singular purpose. To make coin. To rally together to defeat their enemies." He opens the cabinet and takes out a small vial of blue liquid. "To enjoy the finer things in life."
He pours a small amount of the mixture into two steins, also procured from the cabinet.
"The problem is people do not truly know themselves. They see themselves as a single line on a single page. In truth, they are a line that is part of a greater design. To step back and see how the lines and shades all intertwine and interact..." He takes a sip of the stein, holding the liquid in his mouth for a brief second. A contented smile graces his lips as he swallows.
"That is art. That is a story that is worth telling, and will be told for the ages. As for you... this one knows you are here to find your story. So, let us begin."
Ebongale hands you the stein, the blue liquid shimmering in the lights on the walls.
"Tell this one... what is your part in this grand scheme we are concocting?"

We have so many new members (both to the company and to RPing in general) that have been asking for help regarding backstory, character interaction, and the overall storytelling process that is Roleplaying. It can be a very intimidating beast to anyone who doesn't have previous experience with it (whether through D&D, other MMOs, LARPing, etc).
The managers are all on board with having "RP Lessons" for anyone who wants to partake. This is going to serve as the "interest" forum. Simply write below if you're interested in having lessons, and if you have any specific things you'd like to learn more about - post them here. We can then decide when, who will lead, etc.
