ESO On The Console: Will You Switch?

News broke earlier today that Bethesda needs anohter *6 months* to perfect the console version of the game. To that end, they're offering this to anyone who wants to play on the console:

1) Upgrade to a console game for $20 if you're an ESO subscriber
2) Free Character Transfer
3) Free 30 days of game time

The networks are completely autonomous - aka, there's no coming back to the CPU servers unless you transfer (if that's even possible).

So... will you transfer your characters over to a console? or stick with your PC/MAC?

Considering I play ESO on a laptop, I'll more than likely switch a character over to the Xbox One version. I don't have a powerful enough PC to run the game properly at even recommended settings to keep things smooth, and I constantly experience lag and small jumps in heavily scripted areas like Cold Harbour and several dungeons. While my little laptop is a powerhouse in it's own right (8 gigs of ram?! What?!?!?!), I have to keep graphics low, water/shadows/grass/bloom and so on off, and subsampling at medium; and even then I can still experience game-breaking issues (infinite loading screens; being unable to talk to or see an NPC, etc).

However, with all that said, I will be keeping Jason on the PC version for RP sessions and the like; unless they combine the NA PC servers to the NA Xbox One servers. I'll transfer one of my alts to the Xbox version and make that one my console main. The only real reason I want it for consoles is to play with a buddy of mine who doesn't have a decent PC to play ESO on and to experience the game without any lag or poor graphical settings or game-breaking bugs.

C, is for how Curious I'll be how one RPs on console.

K, is for the Keyboard that I would forever miss.

N, is for NOPE, in case my sentiments are unclear.

And O, is for the Oceans of 12 year olds on xbox who claim midnight relations with my mother.

If there's a way to have characters on both without paying an extra sub, I'd put a character on Xbox One to play with a friend who can't do the PC version, but if not, nope. Nope nope nope. Nope nope nope nope nope nope nope nope nope nope nope.

No. I belong with the Master Race.

Considering I don't even have any intentions of getting an Xbone or a PS4...

I'm a pc - player and have no intentions of getting involved in consoles.

I think that it is very interesting what they are offering. But there would be no way you could get me to play any MMO on a console.
KEYBOARD POWER!

No. I am a PC gamer and do not plan on being anything else. How can you RP without a keyboard?! "Wait there for ten minutes while I scroll through this virtual keyboard with an xbox controller just to type one sentence..." Not going to happen.

I'm quite happy using my PC for gaming. I have a good setup in my office upstairs and I'm not interested in hooking up a console to my TV just to play games, especially MMO's.

I really hate mmorpgs and even just rpgs on the console.
