Events

I spoke briefly about my master plan for future events during the last meeting. I would like for all events to be organized by communes and run in weekly interval.

Sunday: Sellswords event.
Monday: Commune of Secrets event.
Tuesday: Companions event.
Wednesday: Merchants event.
Thursday: Commune of Diplomacy event.
Friday: Owner event.
Saturday: Live auction.

Each event should invite the whole guild. For example, if the event is roleplay focused around training new Sellswords, the rest of the guild should be invited to the area.

The actual event times and days would depend on the availability of the managers of each commune. It would be great if we could come up with a consistent schedule, though.

What do you think about this?

Removing inactive members

I think we need to start cleaning up the roster. You can see the last time someone was online in-game by hovering over their Online Icon.

The first step is to start removing people that have not registered on the website and have not logged in to the game in the past 2 weeks.

Continue to keep an eye out for people that you think will make good managers. I don't want you all to get worn out and we will need them!

Just removed the members who hasn't logged on in the last 2 weeks. I'm also announcing that people needs to start registering for the site.

Also I want to note this.

With J'sarr being the only official senior manager right now, he could just say. "Ok Ri'sari, your out." I think we need those Senior Managers ASAP before we have legal Mutiny.

Sounds great. How should I handle events where the whole guild wouldn't make sense as bystanders, for example, Do'Raun and I's next event will be hunting down counterfeit "blue skooma" dealers. Would we just invite everyone to the warehouse and then go do our thing once roleplay had started?

It seems Qa'Han has stumbled upon a secret plan of J'sarr's. But in all honesty, I dont think that could happen, Ri'sari not being the leader...... unimaginable.

Ja'Kasim, for the rp event you are planning, maybe have some integration for whoever shows up from other communes and explain in some way or another why they are needed. Sellswords for fighting backup, Companions as distraction, Merchants for good food, or something similar. That way we get the integration between communes. The activity would still be based on the Commune of Secrets but with help from the other communes.

A good point. I will think on this.

The idea is simply that the leaders of each commune are responsible for hosting one event for the guild a week. This does not by any means mean you cannot make more events outside of the schedule for as few or as many people you would like.

I am trying to make a system that provides structure and consistency for all members including you without putting too much work on any one person.

Regarding Senior Managers: That will take awhile longer.

Hah! It did that to me too when I was promoting en masse. It appears to put your name if you kick/promote someone who's offline. An annoying bug.

What are your feelings on being responsible for organizing one event per week?

Are the days I pulled out of my ass good or would you like to see some changed?

The days you pulled from your ass are perfect for me (Wednesdays) as its my "safe" day from not working. Already planing an event for this Wednesday and next Wednesday.

I can't be available every Tuesday, but I can make an effort to plan events with Aradate beforehand.
(Tuesdays and Thursdays are the only days my IRL friend has off of work.)
It works, though we have nothing planned for tomorrow taht I know of, so we're gonna have to pull something out of our asses...

And she's AWOL this Tuesday, so...
I can figure something out tonight for tomorrow. It'll be vry last-minute though.

Sure thing. I'm not very good at coming up with events, but I think a week is long enough to think of something. Every day is good for me unless something unplanned happens. When are we putting this schedule into effect?

The new schedule is for next week. The calendar has been updated, so be sure to add your events! They don't have to be anything other than RP if you don't want. You can choose to invite the whole guild or just your commune. Whatever you want. Examples of ones are the Commune's one Jo'kyrr already added ot the calendar and the one I made for Friday.

100% of Senior Managers agree that J'sarr is awesome. 0% of Senior Managers have time to run a guild!
