pinned Recruitment, Promotion, & Removal Protocol

To maintain an active guild atmosphere, we must constantly recruit new members. Feel free to come up with your own recruitment spam. I update mine here regularly. :)

Once an application is received, look for:

• Content - Did they take the application seriously?
• Length - How much did they bother to tell you?
• Grammar - Will this person type nicely in Roleplay?

Remember that we don't have to take everyone!




When a member is approved, you should immediately invite them to the Blue Skooma Co. guild. Invite them to the In Character guild if they said they selected they want to join in their app. Do not approve applications if you are not online in ESO to invite them!

• A Trial Member is made a Full Member on the website automatically after they have posted a Character Sheet on the forums that has been upvoted with the green thumb icon on the post.
  
  It is up to you to decide if they should really be given bank access. If you decide they should be a Full Member, upvote the post and promote them in-game. If it shows that an officer has upvoted, then the member is promoted in-game.
  
• If a character sheet is not good, but it shows them as a full member, on the website:
  Go to Admin in the top left > Users
  User Actions > Remove Tags > Full Member
  User Actions > Tag User > Custom Tags > Trial Member

• If a member is removed from the guild, immediately:
  Go to Admin in the top left > Users
  User Actions > Remove Tags > Full Member

Yes. I have the guild tools addon, so I can set up premade messages and easily put them in zone chat. I, however, frequently forget to actually do that. I'll try to be better.

Also: Not a big thing, but in the first message, the "busin-... guild" thing doesn't really make sense to me. In mine, I changed it to "dru-... guild".

Only thing that is wrong with those recruiting messages is you are saying 'contact me' instead of 'contact this one'.

So I dunno if there's some stache of these elsewhere, but the one here is clearly out of date, seeing we do not have that many members, it lists the wrong site, and lets face it, are based in a tavern. I came up with this one since i have a lot of free time in game and we dont have diplomats on normally except near the time everyone is starting to roleplay. If this thread is old i can move my post to whatever new thread about this subject is.

Thanks! Elridge actually has a doc with the updated ads and sends them to the diplomacy officers so they can copy paste it, but we could definitely use this one too.

I know we said this is out of date, but either way, DO NOT do anything in the promotion section. Roster officers and sometimes senior officers only take care of that.

No problem! I was just looking for Recruitment stamps :) From what I read Diplomacy just accepts/denies applications, recruits and deals with other guilds right?

From what I know, yes, but ask Haj to make sure.

Yeah, that's what we do, I at least try to focus on keeping members happy and keeping up to date with the newer members, that way they feel more involved before they even enter RP for the first time, but like, pretty much, yeah, we do exactly that.
