Thought process
Hey guys, I discussed this with the Merchant Brokers and they all thought this to be a good idea. Essentially my thought is being a merchant isn't as exciting or thrilling as being say, a Mercenary, a Spy, or a Companion, so I want to add some pressure to it.

How it Will Work
I'm want to be post order manifests on the Merchant Commune Forums for the Merchants Commune to fill, and I'm going to keep track of who fills orders first and who slacks (And can get after in RP).
To fill an order, they must send me (through mail) the completed order and post on the forum on the manifest that it has been filled. They will receive a small commission for clearing an order.
I wanted to get some feedback and suggestions to this.

Introduction
As a merchant, it is our responsibility to be certain that our clients get what they want, but this one is far to busy to chase any of you down or send his managers to find you. You must all take the initiative to fill the orders on your own and not be asking this one where the work is. As such, this one shall be placing all the orders that we get onto our message board for you to fill. When you have completed an order, send this one the requested materials and he will send you a portion of the profits when the order has been delivered.

Each Order Manifest will have the following information:
Who the order is for: Self explanatory
What is needed: Sometimes they will require very specific items, sometimes it will be something general
Why its needed: We would prefer to know none of what we deal with will be linked back to us in a negative way.
Time Limit: How long until we exceed the deadline of our clients desires. Rest assured, neither Qa'han nor Ri'sari will be pleased if to many orders remain uncompleted.

Example

NameRi'sari
Items50 Moonsugar
25 Nirnroot
25 Ectoplasm
MessageWe require more raw material
for the Blue Skooma
Time Limit7 Days
Reward1000g

Won't be that insane, Ri'sari is just demanding

Inspiration
I actually got the idea from Monster Hunter games.

This sounds good and hopefully will get the commune to become more active. Just three small questions, Should/Could all the managers be posting these orders? Where is the money coming from (guild coffers or mainly our own money)? and are we going to sometimes accept orders from other people and take a percent of the order profit (10%)?

Ice-Eyes Answers

1. I encourage other Managers to post/submit orders, however, I recommend reading answer 2 to the preparation I put into this.

2. This is the part I like about this. It will be coming out of my own pockets (or managers pockets), however, as I mentioned two auctions ago, half of what I personally take in for the auction from now on would be going towards guild activities. (I've been planning this for a while since I had been given this position) At this time, I have over 10k in my personal coffers prepared for this. I will never offer rewards that will exceed my money set aside.
That being said, most times the reward won't exceed 1000; this isn't meant to replace the Scavenger Hunt, merely serve as a catalyst of Role Play and possibly contribute to the overall story arch. The reward is meant merely as an incentive to contribute to the company, as well as encourage members to watch the forums.

3. If we start getting orders from other people then this would probably become the most successful mini-event I've ever planned :p But to answer the question, yes we would gladly accept orders from other people. If it comes from an actual player and not an NPC, rules will be different for reward. The Guild will get 10% while the person who fills the order will get 90%...
