Adressed to: Merchants' Commune

Dear brothers-in-arm:
Due to recent events, each Commune has been tasked with helping to clear the business's name. Other Communes are creating scandal, showing us as honest Khajit merchants, the victims of inbred racism within the guards of Dominion cities, forced to draw blood in defense. We must fulfill this role, or at least make it seem as if we do.

With the help of Glay, I have made easy smuggling containers, based off of our current hiding spots for the product. Barrels, half filled with refined moon-sugar, while on the bottom, the other half is filled with vials which are separated from the grains by a board of wood. There is no need to worry about the sound, as enchantments insulate the clinking vials. Usually, we need all of our obtained sugar to be used in the product. We cannot gain more than our current amount on our own; the guards are already sure moon-sugar is a definite connection to skooma, the ignorant bastards. But with the generous help of a group of less-than-suspicious Khajiti, we will be able to get our product tucked within their new homes easily. Imagine a Thalmor guard, smelling skooma in our building, looking inside a barrel, and finding only innocent spice. How embarrassing!

Attached are instructions as to what needs to be done to make sure our image as a band of merchants - not the glorious underground group which we are - is created. Destroy this paper after acknowledging its information, and keep the instructions only if they are needed. Report when you have completed a task.

May the Eight guide your steps,
Mereneth

The message attached seems to be written on some sort of edible parchment.

  • Modify barrels to accommodate the product.
  • Burn suspicious crates once used to carry the product.
  • Retrieve less extravagant clothing; normal merchants do not wear plate.
  • Research and adapt the customs of a typical merchant.
