(( Part 2 of Natsuyo Stoneblade's story, Might seem a little graphic. His life growing up as a whipping boy until he turns 17 (10 years of training).))

The Jarl's son whom Natsuyo was forced to be friends with was a giant arse which normally came with noble families. Natsuyo didn't fight it though he took this chance to learn what the boy was learning. He was figuratively attached to the boys hip. What ever the boy did he was there as well learning everything he could. If the boy didn't do anything stupid enough for Natsuyo to get punished to death he could leave eventually and knowing how to defend himself would benefit him greatly outside the walls.

In the morning they attended melee combat training and the noble's son stated with an air of superiority, "Take the bastard sword. Being a savage, you should have an inate ability learning it. I will take the daggers, there is an elegance to dual wielding, says my mother. Your the savage and im the elegant noble!"

Natsuyo nodded solemly and took up the blade and continued to train with it while the boy slacked off most of the time. He took fancy to some of the female servants instead of practicing. After a couple hours of melee combat they went to ranged training with bows. Nat was clumsy and could never hit a target where as his forced companion was quite adept at it. Eventually Natsuyo just started to bring this sword to bow practice and trained there while the boy continued to play with his bow.

After lunch the two went off to sharpen their mind and study magick. Natsuyo was told to study the healing arts inorder to better serve the noble's son while the boy in question learned illusion spells. While Natsuyo toiled over the spells it seemed like he had a knack for it while his companion once again abandoned his studies of magick for more carnal pleasures. During the times where they studied history, Natsuyo took pleasure in learning about the Blade's and the Blackblood Marauder's, his parents history was rich. It also explained how he had inate abilities when it came to learning combat and magick.

Several times through his youth, Natsuyo would get disciplined in place of the Lordling. As his rank stated he was the whipping boy. The Jarl's son made no effort to stay out of trouble either. Always stealing, or beating up on younger less privledges children, or even pushing his effections on unwanted females. In each instance Natsuyo was either flogged, whipped, beaten, stoned, and the one he liked best was sent off to do medial labour where he took the time to train his body and toughen himself up. Most of the time he would come back battered and bleeding from the assault which was easily remedied by the court healer. Although she wasn't allowed to heal the inguries completely. Natsuyo would have to carry around with him bruises and minor cuts but never any broken bones or open wounds. It would hinder his training and the Jarl needed him to be the boys protector in the future.

As Natsuyo grew older he bagn developing more hardy than the nobles son. The beatings toughened his skin, the skill training with two handed swords made his muscle grow and build. He was even a decent healer when the King of Skyrim called for the Jarl's son to go to war against the Stormcloaks. The brat kicked and screamed saying that he didn't want to leave the protective walls of his father's domain. The Jarl told the boy that he was required to go by the King and that all he had to do was stand in the back and shoot arrows while Natsuyo was a relative meat shield. He was to stand in front of his charge and prevent any and all harm that might come his way.

True to the Jarl's word, Natsuyo stood in the front lines while the young man stayed in the backround taking all the credit for Natsuyo's efforts. Now Nat wasn't a glory hound but he was getting tired of the lordling's constant jibes against his birth parents and how he was so much better than him. In Natsuyo's opinion, if you bleed the same blood, it didn't matter where you came from.

When the army started losing healer's the commander asked around the ranks for anyone with even a little bit of knowledge in the art. Seeing this as an excuse to gain more reputation, Nat's charge offered him up to the commander telling him that Natsuyo was an excellent healer and should do whatever he could to assist, as long as he got credit for it. Natsuyo bit his tongue and told his commander that he was indeed trained in healing magick which was strange for a Nord to be so proficient in any magick.

"Good you will assist the front line tonight, we will be throwing a surprise attack to bring victory against the stormcloaks." the commander stated as they walked away from where the nobles son was sitting, laughing and drinking the night away.

"What about this camp sire?" Natsuyo asked.

"Do not worry. We will be fine. Go now, and report to my Lieutenant." the commander stated and walked off to his own tent.

Natsuyo did as he was commanded and made his way towards the camp, making sure he strapped his two-handed sword to his back and he carried his staff to show he was a healer. The camp was bustling with soldiers of every race using a multitude of different weapons. Not knowing who the Lieutenant actually was, Natsuyo approached a Khajiit who was spinning a dagger on the back of his paw and catching the hilt in the same hand, looking positively bored.

"Would you know where the Lieutenant is by chance friend?" Natsuyo asked, trying to be polite.

The Khajiit stopped what he was doing and looked up slightly at Natsuyo before answering, "This one does indeed know where the Lieutenant is. What does the Nord have to offer for this information?"

Natsuyo gauged the Khajiit squarely and stated plainly, "I offer healing spells when you're in need."

"Bah! Only need healing when you are caught. This one never gets caught." the Khajiit stated before walking off, briefly stopping to gesture for Natsuyo to follow him.

Nat followed his guide through the camp noticing that when they left this camp would have little protection. He was going to bring it up until he was brought to a halt infront of an Altmer clad in heavy armor, a short sword, and shield. She turned and looked at the Khajiit who scurried away when her face showed a little bit of digust towards the feline. When she looked at Natsuyo her face barely changed until she noticed his staff then a grin appeared.

"A healer? Nord too? Interesting." the Lieutenant stated with an amused lit to her voice.

"Yes ma'am." Natsuyo said in a polite manner.

The Altmer looked even more amused as she said, "You are a strange one. You're polite too. Well, enough of that, we are leaving in a half an hour. I asume you are ready to go?"

Natsuyo nodded briefly.

"Good. Then we shall head out. Go amuse yourself with the others until we depart." she stated then turned back to her desk where a map of Skyrim was layed out.

Natsuyo turned and headed back to the gathering of soldiers and was about to sit down when an orc approached him looking down from his massive height. Before Natsuyo could ask the orc grunted, "Healer, yes? Why two-handed sword on back?"

Natsuyo smirked and stated slowly, "I've learned to fight with two-handed swords. People want me to Heal them instead."

The orc grunted and walked off leaving Natsuyo to himself for all but five minutes when the Lieutenant came to the group and told everyone that they were marching. Natsuyo followed the orc and walked next to the Khajiit he had first met. In a few hours they were slowed down to a halt where their leader ordered them into a crouch. The Khajiit had a feral grin on his face as he crept away into the shadows with the other thief and assassin trained soldiers.

Out of the distance Natsuyo couldn't hear anything until a signal fire went up and the Altmer screamed, "CHARGE!!!"

Natsuyo fell to the back rank with the other spell casters, every now and then having to cast a healing spell or two. In all honesty he prefered to charge in the front lines hacking his way through the enemies. With the surprise attack the Stormcloaks were forced to retreat leaving them victorious. Natsuyo got slapped on the shoulder and thanked repeatedly, the orc even offered to forge a new two-handed for him when they returned to camp.

As they approached the camp pillars of smoke bellowed into the sky from the tents and grounds. Natsuyo's mouth was set in a grim line as the Lieutenant issued the oder to crouch and to ascend the hill. At the top they noticed retreating Foresworn, hooting and hollaring as they walked away with their pillaged goods. They waited a few more minutes for any stragglers to join the main force before descending into te camp. Bodies littered the ground Foresworn and Imperial Guard alike. Natsuyo immediately headed towards his charge's tent.

Cinder's floated in the air as Natsuyo carefully manuevered through the lifeless bodies on the ground. Blood and death singed his notstrils and he was slightly relieved when a minor wind picked up blowing the smoke and ash away from him. He knew waht he was going to find in his tent, unless the lordling managed to escape before the attack. Then Natsuyo remembered the state he had left the JArl's son in... drunken tomfullary. There was no hope of his survival.

He stopped infront of the cloth opening and gauged his breathing, deep breath in, deep breath out. Slowly he brought his hand up to push aside the barrier and found his hand shaking ever so slightly. Was he excited to see the pompous arse dead, or was he afraid of the consequences that followed in the aftermath of this event? Natsuyo thought he was a bit of both as he finally pulled the curtain back. Hesitantly, Nat crossed the threshold and peered to the right where his master slept and found his body, headless, laying on the imported furs and feathered pillows. Distantly, Natsuyo thought it was a shame thatthe Foresworn had ruined the bed with blood, but at the forefront of Natsuyo's mind he wondered what they had done with the head. To the left was a space divider where a small Vanity sat. Reluctantly, Nat headed to that corner and saw his master's head, pitted on top of a spear, his sightless eyes looking at himself in the mirror.

Natsuyo left the tent, holding in the bile that was trying to escape. He moved quickly out of the camp site and stopped abruptly. He took a deep breath of fresh air, not tainted with ash and blood, trying to calm himself down. The Altmer Lieutenant approached Natsuyo and clasped him on the shoulder and stood there with him for a moment.

"Stoneblade, you are dismissed from your duties now that the war is over. I will take the events that occured here to the King and you will report back to your Jarl with waht has happened." she said in a stern voice.

Natsuyo dreded the task of telling his Jarl of the death of his son. His Lieutenant didn't know the circumstances behind Natsuyo's initial draft. Solemly, Natsuyo nodded his head and said before walking off, "Yes ma'am. It was a pleasure."

The trip home took a little longer than Natsuyo initially thought, the sontant barbs and instigations the Jarl's son through his way managed to make the time go by faster when they first started out. When he reached the gate, the Thane that purchased him was waiting, arms folded, a bow at her back. Gossip traveled fast around Skyrim, merchants and Khajiit Caravans insured that the Jarl would have already heard of his son's death. Without saying a word the Bosmer Thane turned towards the Jarl's mansion knowing that Natsuyo was tailing right behind her.

As soon as the doors opened and Natsuyo walked inside the Jarl's voice rang out, "YOU!!!"

Natsuyo kneeled infront of the noble, his head down in a submissive gesture and stated, "Sire, I bring you grave news of your son's death."

"YOU HAD ONE JOB!! PROTECT MY CHILD!!" the Jarl spat out, spittle raining on Natsuyo's face and close cut hair.

"The commander requested additional healer's for a frontal assault. Your son volunteered me so he could gain more favor with the Commander." Natsuyo replied and knew he should have just stayed quiet.

"YOU WERE MY SON'S PERSONAL HEALER! NO ONE ELSE'S!" the Lord stated as he turned around and sat on his makeshift throne.

He nodded his head towards on of the guards and Natsuyo felt the cold press of iron shackles around his wrists. The Jarl stated in a voice seething with hatred, "You are hereby branded a traitor in my lands. You will spend the rest of your days in prision for causing the death of my son."

"My Jarl..." the Bosmer Thane spoke up.

"What is it Thane?" the Jarl stated, using the same voice at the woman.

"If I may, advisor what is the state of this houses funds?" she asked the Imperial who was standing to the left of the Jarl.

"W-We are losing money... I-uhm-I don't know where the money is hemoraging from." the thin man stated while he studied his small book.

"My Leige, I propose we use Natsuyo to raise funds for your house. He is fair of face and has a well built body. I wouldn't be surprised if he would fetch a high price." The woman said a glint in her brown acorn shaped eyes.

"You want him compensated for killing my son? Being a whore isn't punishment!" the Jarl barked out.

"Now my Lord, I did not say he would just be whored out. There's an... illicit Companion network for those who need more than simple pleasures..." the Thane retorted.

The Jarl's face had a feral grin appear as he said, "Now that sounds excellent. When can we set up these... illicit contracts?"

The woman looked at Natsuyo and said, "It will be a time, first we need to build his reputation in that circle. Allow me to train him first, contract him out and such."

"Fine, fine. Do what you must. Now when the more eccentric contracts come about let me know." the Jarl stated and sat back in his "throne."

"Yes my Jarl. Come Natsuyo." the Thane said when one of the guards unlocked his restraints.

Natsuyo didn't know what he was in for. First his parents die when he was seven. Next he was abducted by illegal slave merchants where he was sold into a Jarl's care where he learned to defend himself with two-handed swords, defend others with his skill in healing magick, and learned a little about his heritge. Now he was to learn the art of being a companion...

((End Part Two. Part Three will consist of Natsuyo's learning of being a companion and his life as one before he is completely exiled from Skyrim.))
