Rumors:

Translated to common, his name means "Unknown Child"
He was raised in a Khajiiti caravan that traveled between Elswyer and Cyrodiil. His adopted mother was Ri'fava, who taught him to avoid bloodshed when can, in favor for guile and a silver tongue. It is a policy he lived by and has thus far served him quite for the best.
He once lead a large caravan through the Black Marsh. Rumor have it that he struck a deal with the Bogmarcher Goblins to use there tunnels to avoid predators and bandits. This ensured the success of his caravan where as many others had failed.
He has a unique variety Glyphs that he uses in combat, disguises, and other variety. He calls them "Sticky Glyphs", glyphs capable of being removed and reapplied at will. He keeps the method of their creation a guarded secret, even from those he trusts. Rumor has it only one other knows of the secret of there creation, and its not Gnarlus (In fact, he spilled the beans there was another)
Qa'han seems to be talented in all methods of crafting, blacksmithing and enchanting, and takes extreme pride in everything he makes. He considers himself a master, but he refuses to work like a master, believing that taking a month mastering one piece is less profitable then spending one day one something to sell.

Background:

Qa'han's age is unknown even to himself. Ever since his transfer into his Male Phase after licking the sap of the Hist Tree, he is unsure if he was born anew, or simply altered.
His true scale color is Black, but his scales are covered Dried Sand giving it a Brown color. He achieved this by sleeping buried on the bottom of an oasis for a full day, then sleeping under the desert sun for another day, baking the sand into is scales. He did this originally to protect himself from the sun's heat, but later it proved as an effective disguise by scrapping off the sand.
Qa'han was born under the sign of the Shadow. Argonians born under the Shadow are destined to become Shadowscale, Royal Assassins loyal to The King of Argonia (Steel-Eyes). However, being born in Cyrodiil, he was never taken in by them. When Qa'han began recruiting for his Caravan, he was approach by Rune-Claw, a genuine Shadowscale, to become a bodyguard (When really, he was sent by Steel-Eyes on suspect his was an Dominion Spy). When Rune-Claw learned Qa'han could be trusted and about his true destiny, he began teaching Qa'han the secrets of the Shadowscale. While Qa'han was a quick study in the acrobatics and stealth, it became apparent to Rune-Claw he refused to lift a blade to kill.
Qa'han creates his Sticky Glyphs by This portion seems to have been completely scratched out.
Qa'han ended up in the Dominion by sheer accident. His Caravan was captured by cultists of Midimarco, who sent Qa'han to Coldharbour. Upon escaping, Qa'han ended up off of the coast of Auridon. From there, through a series of coincidences, Qa'han became an Eye of the Queen, and from his action with the Dominion, was forbidden from returning to the Black Marsh. He believed at first those of his caravan were slain until recent.
He considered everyone in the company a close friend or family, believing he lost those he originally called family forever. When Qa'han was betrayed by Ri'sari, he worried of his "family" and sought to rescue them from Ri'sari.
Qa'han met back up with Gnarlus, his guide for the Goblin Tunnels, when the Mages' Guild transferred him to Auridon in a small attempt to quell the uprising of Toothmaul Gully.
