Sleek, black Khajiit with a full, golden mane and golden eyes. Average height for a Khajiit, but with a muscular build. Trained as a Nightblade, but prefers heavy armor, bows, 2H weapons and sword & board. Though he goes by a translation of his Khajiiti name, he still speaks in the traditional Khajiiti pattern.

Since coming to Auridon from Khenarthi's Roost, Obsidian One seems to have become the new protégé of Razum-Dar! The Veiled Heritance has added Obsidian One to it's contract for the death of Razum-Dar. Altmer that are loyal to the Dominion, yet would have preferred to see Naemon or Estre take the throne, harbor deep resentment for Obsidian One over their deaths.

Background: (What our characters don't know, but can find out!)

Born in Elsweyr as Tho'Khaj [(black)(sand/glass)], his family moved to Khenarthi's Roost to work on the moon-sugar plantations. As he grew, he became less and less satisfied with the limited prospects on KR and dreamed of leaving the small island to become an adventurer. He trained a bit here and there with anyone who would let him, but the Headwoman placed too much trust (or fear?) in the treaty with the Maormer and so discouraged the martial arts among the citizens. This lead to his patchwork of skills, instead of a dedicated path of training. Tho'Khaj also adopted the (poor) translation of his name, Obsidian One, to better prepare himself for traveling in foreign lands.

The Maormer eventually betrayed their true ambitions by conjuring a massive storm to drive an Aldmeri fleet against the shores of Khenarthi's Roost, and Obsidian One was quick to take up arms against them. After the fighting, he would have gladly signed on with Captain Jimila's crew but Razum-Dar said he had more potential than that and offered him service in the Eyes of the Queen. He decided to accept Razum-Dar's offer -- and had the opportunity to save the Queen's life!

Thus his career has taken a strange turn -- Obsidian One's name is now known in high circles of the Dominion (for good or for ill) and there never seems to be any lack of adventure. Obsidian One, secretly, sees himself as a potential "hero" but is wise enough not say much about this out loud, though his opinions on matters may well betray him.
