Rumors: Uthia is very impatient and impetuous. She's quick to come to a conclusion and quick to judge someone. Uthia loves her books and will spend hours reading them, learning about Tamriel. She is loyal and will follow orders to the best of her ability. She is an amazing scout.

Background: Uthia's Bosmeri parents misplaced her when she was a young child. She was found by an Argonian couple, Grey-Tail and Fresh-Leaves, and raised by them until she was 20. Grey-Tail was a retired Shadowscale and trained Uthia as one. Grey-Tail was amazed at Uthia's grace during training and so named her Slips-Through-Blades. Uthia's training ended when she was 18.
On Uthia's 20th name day, Dunmer slavers raided the Argonian village she lived in, taking her foster parents captive. One of the Dunmer soldiers found Uthia's hiding place, put her fingers to her lips and told her to be quiet. When Uthia emerged from hiding the village was gone. She found a hastily written note by Grey-Tail telling her to let them go, that they were too old and would not survive long anyhow. As much as she didn't want to, she let them go.
Uthia then decided she would search out her birth parents. She traveled, off road, to Silvenar. Where she learned that her birth parents had been consumed by the Wild Hunt. Now Uthia looks for a permanent family.

Uthia was brought to the teachings of Mother Lamae through the Cleric of Lamae, Mael Masters. She now follows him with devotion.
