Simply a song for your enjoyment as you read. That I believe captures some of Qa'iit's essence. [/youtube]

Name: Qa’iit
Age: Mid forties
Race: Khaj’iit
Flair:
He is a large partially rotund khaj’iit, based on his stature and height it is safe to assume he was born under the waxing Masser and Secunda. Meaning he is of the Cathay-raht bread of Khaj'iit, which are known as the fearsome Jaguar men to the Bosmer of the bordering forests of Elsweyr. For being such an imposing figure he isn’t completely muscle he hauls his fair share of extra weight, fluff as some would call it, though all definitions are simply to iterate he has fat. As any would suspect from a mercenary he has his fair share of scars from battle, thankfully khaj’iit are blessed with fur to cover such things.
The structure of his face is as would be expected of any brute or mercenary. A hard rigid structure a seemingly unforgiving jaw line, complimented by the taunt pull of the thick muscles that lay beneath the fur, which can form noticeable protrusions, when he clenches his jaw. He holds no mane, no form of any excessive adornment. He is apparently plane and barren face attached to his intimidating body. There is one feature that betrays all the others, his eyes. They look like those of a marred child which desperately clutching to a great hope. Faithful that the hope is there that it's light would not fade firm in believe of its existence yet wounded by the harsh nature of the world. His eyes made all his other features appear only a facade. If eyes were the windows to the soul, then he was a kind man standing against the tide of a cruel fate and deeming its current unworthy of himself or those he protects.
Rumors:
It is rumored that he only attempts to mimic the Khaj’iit accent. He will intentionally replaces his I’s with ‘This one’s trying to liken himself to the Khaj’iit he might be talking to. It is not difficult to make him drop this tone, or so you might have heard.
Most have none bitter to say about the cat. They will only speak of his kind, respectful attitude towards them and those around them. Perhaps they might speak of his kind eyes or welcoming demeanor, as if he only sees the best in everyone he meets.
Those that are not among the living however have mostly come to despise him and his open opposition to the presence of the dead, a commonly held virtue of the citizens of Tamriel, though few seem to hold it with such fervor as Qa'iit.
Some have rumored him a worshiper of Eight, Sithis, or Daedra. Though none have openly spoken of complete absolute knowledge, as it is openly known that Qa’iit will excuse himself to pray never stating whom or what he prays to.
He is often seen with his suit of armor, in fact there are few if any of those who have seen him without it. It usualy consists of strapping large pieces of metal to his person, for the sole sake of protecting his person at the expense of his mobility and weight.
Background:
Qa’iit starts his tale some time before he is brought to a clan of Khaj’iit though that specific part of his past is of privileged knowledge. He arrives at a young age, though most would already consider him a man by this time, at a Clan of Khaj’iit under the Clan Mother Dar’ma. Given his age and apparent absence of knowledge of the khaj’iit culture at this point he is ostracized by this group though tolerated. Hence this is where he was given the tile to which he holds today, Qa’iit. This means Unknown person, or more accurately ‘This one’s job is unknown’ or ‘it is this one’s job to be unknown’ in Ta’agra’iss, the name of the language of the Khaj’iit. It was given to him by the members of the clan as a manner of insult to try and further the distance between him and the group. Through his short time there he became fascinated with the color of metal as it was forged through the fires, and admired its resilience to the world around it. Thus he dawned full metal armor, which is not accustomed for most khaj’iit to wear. He did at a time try the art of painting though due to his large size and clumsy hands he wasn’t allowed long to try his hand at the craft. He didn’t stay with the clan but a few years before departing. From the clans of the Tenmar forest he made his way to the harsh and unforgiving northern deserts of Elsweyr. There he did what his body allowed him to do easily, enforce. He served under no clan but sold his service as a brute in the years before the outbreak of the Knahaten Flu. If the time after its effects, he honed his craft and gain the degree of professionalism that has become known of him. He sold his shield as a mercenary to protect the many caravans of the desert from the at times warring bands of clans that there fought. Years of wielding a weapon and combating not only the will of others but the merciless whim of nature left Qa’iit a hardened man yet still in his youth, it is then he would make his only claim on another Va’raj was her name, though he always called her ‘Fox’. If he were asked, he would say she was a quiet gentle woman. One who used her skills to make wondrous potions the likes of which were rare on in this world using these potions to provide a pleasure to people’s lives that would have been vacant otherwise. She used her knowledge to concur the world around her, bend it to her will and improve the lives of those around her with her prowess. She one day was struck ill with a wasting sickness, and Qa’iit stood powerless at her side as she slowly slipped from Nirn. Sometime after her death he decided to leave the world of the Khaj’iit behind and travel to the sun lit lands of the Altmer. This journey took many years but eventually he came to it the sun kissed lands of the High-Elves, that his absence of the one who understood him might be replaced with the light he cherished so dearly. There he came to the shores of Auridon working for hire under the Altmer which only refined his professionalism. There he worked trying to claim a title which he has refused to voice, trying to claim a name that isn’t one created out of cruelty but of respect. One that all would hear and know he is a man of honor, worthy of respect. Like all titles; however, he viewed it as something to earn and not be given. To this day he struggles to fulfill the prerequisites needed for such a tile. It was there that he was hired by a Khaj’iit Merchant company operating in Auridon. From then on began his collaboration with the members there of.
((I should have finished this a lot earlier but I never know what to include in such things. I like to reward those who actively RP with Qa’iit with some clues to his past that might inspire the “Awww That’s why!” when discovering his reasoning for being the Man his is. Its basic but just let me know if you ever want to RP I am very open to such things.))
