The World Cup!

Hey fellow guildies! Who else is excited for the World Cup? Only 3 days away. :)

Anyway, just decided to create a forum where whoever is a real 'football' fan like me can discuss the game if they want too.

So here are some of my predictions.

Winner: Germany
Runner-Up: Brazil
Third: Portugal
Fourth: Belgium

Player scoring most goals: Difficult, maybe Mueller or Ronaldo
Early Exits: Italy, Spain

(Big Germany fan, can't blame me I'm German)

Now when you say foot ball do you mean - Soccer (round ball), Grid-iron (funny shape ball with padded pansies for players), Rugby League (real man's game) or Rugby Union (Rugby for fairies) ? LOL

but I am very un-australian as I do not watch or care about sport - which is why I truly do not know what World Cup you are talking about :

I mean the one where the foot is actually involved in the game most of the time, not where people try to massacre each other and the foot only kicks the ball every so often. So in other words soccer. The sport which most people associate with the term football. :)

But football season is over for a few more months! ((yes i know you mean what Americans refer to as Soccer :P))
