Rumors: Once known as "Swiftclaw the Faceless" due to the featureless headpiece in her possession, Sarena now walks among the clan as a friendly, if not snarky at times, face. Her combat skills change between archery and twin daggers as the situation fits, and she'll even resort to bare claws if need be using a special brand of hand-to-hand combat learned during her travels. She also keeps a secret stash of throwing knives tucked inside her bracers and belt even when appearing unarmed. In her free time, she enjoys playing the flute, her favorite song being a rendition of what we would know as Gakct's "Journey Through the Decade" from Kamen Rider Decade.
Background: Sarena's past is not something she speaks of in either form, but it is one that has shaped her to the core. She was found amongst a ravaged caravan by Bosmer travelers on their way home through Valenwood and taken in as one of their own. Her caretakers' teachings combined with her natural instincts make her a measurable threat to those her oppose her, especially among the local forests. Sarena does not adhere to the Green Pact, but she does respect the forest enough to take only what it gives to her, such as hide from hostile animals attacking her for armor, freshly fallen wood for bows, and the occasional odd plant for alchemical purposes. While she supports the Aldmeri Dominion, having joined their ranks later in life, she is not overly fond of the Thalmor contingent for personal reasons, such as tearing her away from her foster family.
Her duty to the Dominion once brought her to Woodhearth to investigate the whispers of strife and suffering amongst the citizens, eventually leading her to the Sugar-Claw Clan. Her original purpose was nearly complete when a band of Thalmor under the corrupted command of Lord Vorion Stormor gave chase to the clan from Woodhearth to S'ren-ja. There a final stand was made against the Thalmor, and after the elves were dispatched, Sarena used her knowledge of the clan and influence in her division of operatives to grant members of the clan amnesty from their crimes. Sarena later returned assigned as a watcher and protector, once again taking a place of part of the newly-formed Guard.
