After some soul searching for this character I also answered question #86 & 87

Very OOC - Note for Sumar's Eyes only

When I reexamined her, and now knowing Sumar better these days, I saw a few similarities which may freak him out:

Sylvaswift pulled her from the streets and recreated her, took her as lover, created a soul-tie to him, she has been brainwashed by Sylvaswift and thinks as he does, same belief system as his. She more or less worships him although she is not really aware that she does, only that she loves him but had accepted he would never love her back.

Sylvaswift is aware of her original infatuation, which he believes she is now over. He did not mean to brainwash her, she was just young, impressionable and very vulnerable to the care he gave her at the time. On a very buried level he cares for her well-being, that is why he would never be able to watch Sumar hurt her, nor would he get any pleasure from it.

What has undone Kyora is seeing the love denied her being given to another... in her eyes to someone as deplorable as a furless black mer male. Her world is shattering, and her anger rage is very much misplaced fear. She fits out when she doesn't get her own way, exhibits itself by anger. She is emotionally retarded in the fact that she has not learnt emotional self-control, and self denial.
