((This served as my character 'sheet' on another RP site. I have changed some aspects of him to fit more with the Elder Scrolls universe, but he mostly remains consistent. A WORK IN PROGRESS!))

The Character
Can be easily learned in character, or at first-glance
_______________________
He travels alone, with few adornments in all black and silvers. A smooth confidence keeps his stride, and a mask his face. Shadows cling to him like an obsessive lover in any half-light.
Species: Dunmer (possibly some kind of taint to his blood)
Profession: Assassin
Age: The Dunmer equivalent of 49
Gender: Male
Height: 5'11".
Weight: 189 lbs.
Eye Color: Completely white, no visible pupil.
Hair Color: Black, straight and long, tends to feather where it is short near his temples.
Skin tone: Charcoal ash (or warm) gray.
Build: Medium compact frame, lithe muscle.
Markings: Ethereal color full body tattoo, nearly always invisible save in certain, muted light.
Evident Weapons: A large falchion strapped over his shoulder, its blade black as a starless night save for the silver of its keen edge and archaic runes etched into its surface. A poison channel rests in the blade, and may be visible should one be unfortunate enough to catch sight of the blade unsheathed. A pair of longsword lays beneath it, their sheathes hiding much of its appearance. One correctly guesses these are not his only weapons.

Known name: Sumar.
**This name does not remain in writing, but vanishes soon after penning**Alias: "Turnskull" used only rarely, and by assassin associates
Creature Type: Dremora-Tainted humanoid
Occupation(s): Assassin “Nightstalkers” Guild Affiliation
Residence: Coldharbor, secret lair
Languages: Common, Daedric, spoken only. He cannot read or write either.
Specialties: If it involves shadows, fire, poisons, lock-picking, forgery, resourcefulness, street-smarts or a quick and silent blade, Sumar is likely your man. He also possesses some light tracking skills.
Pastimes/vices: Smoking his pipe, drinking wine, crowd watching, fascination with children's' literature.
NotableTattoo: It is supernaturally enchanted with the essence of spirits to allow him to become insubstantial for a brief time. (eg. passwall or slip out off snares and non-magical bindings.
The Curse: Sumar is 'cursed' and thus when he leaves a scene nothing remains as proof that he was once there beyond a memory. His name cannot be scribed for long before it vanishes. Bits of hair, nail, skin, or anything removed from him vanishes. However, should he cause physical sign by altering the world around him, scraping a wall/floor or breaking a branch or crushing grass, these things remain. Details of this are available by talking to the player, and history must be role-played knowledge, as Sumar has never told anyone the particulars.
Companion: A tiny wingless dragon, smaller than a house-cat, scales as black as ink save for an irregular red 'scar' from its eye to hindquarters. Spiky with wiry tufts of fur for a mane. Known name: Samar. This creature shares its master's skill at stealth among other things. This creature has not yet been seen or referred to since his introduction to the Company.
Theme Song(s): Tristania “A Sequel of Decay" and Poets of the Fall "Given and Denied"
Color: #333333

”They believe I have fallen. Like vultures they flock about the remains, picking for themselves what they believe is theirs. They must learn that I alone am the Slayer, it is to Me that they should look. I have been belittled, and I will not allow this to happen again. They will learn their place. You... from birth I have forged you to this purpose, sharpened and balanced behind the Veil. Hold the edge, and I shall not cast you aside as worthless scrap.” – L
Sumar has made reference to his first-master to several individuals. The story is sordid in nature. This individual remains shrouded in mystery, even for Sumar.

The online name is Towim. I've been role playing in online communities since April 2001. Please have patience with my slow posting at times. I was once a "para-poster", keeping up with the speed and specialty of so many out there. A terrible injury now impairs the flexibility in my hands and prevents much more than a good few quality lines. Don't judge me as less because of it; you may still find my characters worth your time.
This is my original character from our 4.0 D&D adventures, played from beginning until “retirement” at cap level. With much love for his personality, I have brought him here to share with others outside of our table-top experience. I now play him free-form with a lose base of his abilities from the game. Expect some changes and surprises.
Character portraits are mine, digitally painted, eight to sixteen hours of good solid work. Please respect my copyright. Occasionally I have been known to take commissions. My gallery, including many of Sumar's portraits, can be found here:
