image no longer hosted — http://i62.tinypic.com/am9kyb.jpg[/img]Name: His name is of no importance, he is a Servant of the Empire and goes by that title, Servus Imperii
Age: 102
Race: Altmer
Flair: He has many scars, and wears them proudly, his face is also weathered with age and lined by seeing many friends die in battles that the world has long forgotten.
Rumors: He is a ruthless commander, and, while quiet, is said to always be assessing the situation. It is rumored he was offered officer ranks a number of times, but has so far turned down anything higher than leading a squad of soldiers.
Background: (Still in development of course) Servus is the son of two Altmeri traders, one in enchantments, the other in steel. The two took their craft to Cyrodil to serve The Empire however they could. It is there that Servus was born, named Quar'toth by his parents, and spent his early years hunting and smithing with his father, and learning healing arts from his mother, a skill which he took to more quickly than most, and surpassed her in ability before he was 13. It was not long before The Order of The Light came and saw the boy's potential. With his parent's blessing Servus entered the order as a youth and has never looked back, his prowess in battle, and in healing his comrades quickly earned him accolades, accolades which he cared nothing about. Eventually, he was assigned, by The Order, to the Imperial Army where his battle skills were further honed. He is driven by a strong desire to protect those weaker than him, and to aid those who are suffering.
If people encounter Servus among his solders, those who he has commanded, they may hear Servus call out "ONE BODY!" and all the soldiers respond "ONE BLOOD!" His Platoons, known (first as an insult which they adopted as their own) as "The Bloody Bunch" do not surrender, period. If you need a hill taken, they take it, if you need someone killed, they kill them, if you need to find someone who's just crazy enough to walk into a den of vampires under the guise of peace only to cut the leader's throat, you need The Blood Bunch; they function as one unit, and view eachother as more than family, but a part of themselves.
Servus does not despise the Undead such as Vampires, or the Beastials like Werewolves, but nor does he trust them. And he'll stab them in the throat before giving them the benefit of the doubt; goes with watching three of your first recruits get gutted by a vampire whore. (Really, she was a whore, she was just also a vampire.)
The rest is still a mystery, for now.
*Edit 7/11/14*
Changed age from 368 to 102, not positive about this but think it makes for a better character.
Part 1: The Basics
1. What is your full name?
Quar'toth of Cyrodil (Altmer generally don't have Family names) but goes by Servus Imperii (Servant of the Empire)
2. Where and when were you born?
A small village that payed homage to Castle Faregyl in Cyrodil (Central Southern Cyrodil)
3. Who are/were your parents? (Know their names, occupations, personalities, etc.)
Father: Quar'ron, a kind but stern man. Full of laughter in his best moods, as hard as the steel he forged in his smith in his worst.
Mother: Mara'toth, a gentle soul, the only thing that could tame Quar'ron, a gifted enchantress and a competent healer.
4. Do you have any siblings? What are/were they like?
None that he is aware of. He left home at a young age (for elves) and has not seen his family since. (This is not unusual for Elves.)
5. Where do you live now, and with whom? Describe the place and the person/people.
Wherever I pitch my tent for the night. While I still consider the Friary where I learned the ways of Akatosh & Mara home, I have been traveling while on leave from the Military.
6. What is your occupation?
Imperial Legionairre, and a future Priest of my Order. (Serving is a tenant of The Order.) I am a Skilled healer and Fighter and am frequently called upon to help when sister Abbeys or Friaries are under attack from Daedra, Abberations, or men.
7. Write a full physical description of yourself. You might want to consider factors such as: height, weight, race, hair and eye color, style of dress, and any tattoos, scars, or distinguishing marks.
Height: 6'10"
Weight: 220 lbs
Race: Altmer by Birth, Imperial by Region
Hair: Silver, born that way, never changed.
Eye color: Deep-Ocean Blue

8. To which social class do you belong?
The Religious & Soldier Classes, in that order; as such, I always remember that my station as a Servant is to always help any person, especially if they're Imperial, who needs me.
9. Do you have any allergies, diseases, or other physical weaknesses?
None that he's yet discovered.
10. Are you right- or left-handed?
Right
11. What does your voice sound like?
A gruff Bari-Tenor sound; he inherited the higher pitches of his family, but grew among the deeper voices of The Empire, which his father encouraged him to emulate; which he has to great success.
12. What words and/or phrases do you use very frequently?
"Akatosh is the Fire, Mara is the Warmth"
"Mara Bless You."
"I live to serve."
13. What do you have in your pockets?
Prayer beads from The Monastary and my journal.
14. Do you have any quirks, strange mannerisms, annoying habits, or other defining characteristics?
Not very outgoing. Will often sit back and people-watch rather than engage people he doesn't know. Tends to classify people as "Threat, Potential-Threat" or "Non-threat" above any other classification.
Part 2: Growing Up
15. How would you describe your childhood in general?
Disciplined, working The Forge with my father taught me resolve, learning to heal alongside my mother taught me compassion.
16. What is your earliest memory?
Mara's song, whispering through my thoughts.
17. How much schooling have you had?
Define "Schooling" I was taught to read, write, use numbers, smith, and the basics of healing from my parents. Then The Brothers taught me Religion, Philosophy, Meditation, History, Literature, Alchemy, to Farm and Hunt, and vastly deepened my knowledge of healing. When The Brothers sent me to Serve my tenure among The Legion, the soldiers taught me True Discipline, Military History, Imperial History, Warfare, Leadership, and how to Kill.
18. Did you enjoy school?
Learning to meditate for hours was boring, until I learned how to do so correctly. Learning to kill was hard, but useful. Other than that, enjoyment wasn't really a consideration.
19. Where did you learn most of your skills and other abilities?
Father Marcellinus took me under his wing at the monastery, and Sergeant Lucinia Arkanian-one of the few female leaders in The Legion-took a special pleasure in kicking my ass until I was good enough in her eyes. And then doing it until I was better...miss her.
20. While growing up, did you have any role models? If so, describe them.

Inquisitive, thoughtful, resilient.
25. As a child, were you popular? Who were your friends, and what were they like?
No. I was an elf in a child of humans, and children are often unkind. I made friends with struggle, eventually proving myself to them, though I always suspected that most of them only tolerated me because I could heal their injuries.
26. When and with whom was your first kiss?
Anya, before she went off to an unnamed Abbey of Mara, she said she needed to know what it was to kiss an elf. We were both 18. I did not see her again until I stood beside her bed in her final days, some 60 years later, she had lost her ability to speak by the time I arrived, I still don't know why she called for me.
27. Are you a virgin? If not, when and with whom did you lose your virginity?
I am. I joined The Brotherhood at 20, and took vows of Chastity. (Marriage is still an option, it's not perpetual.) Prior to that, well, I'm an elf, humans don't really like us sometimes.
28. If you are a supernatural being (i.e. mage, werewolf, vampire), tell the story of how you became what you are or first learned of your own abilities. If you are just a normal human, describe any influences in your past that led you to do the things you do today.
Servus has always heard the Song of Mara floating within his mind, and has always been aware of the Claw of Akatosh guiding the streams of time; as a youth he was unaware that it was they who gave to him such potent healing ability, but when he joined The Monastary this was made clear to him.

Vinavia has been there for me during this long dark night of Vampirism.
