Name: Arean Heasiraheal

Flair: Has scars throughout his body. Has opalescent green eyes, orange-brown hair, and dimples. When in a personal setting, he is flirty and kind. When in a business or fighting scenario, he is ruthless and cold.

Rumors: Deathly afraid of intimacy. Simple platonic contact such as a handshake or hug does not bother him. He acts very flirtatious and confident, but it ends there. He tends to only have two emotional settings: Charismatic, and deadly serious. His mood shifts can be immediate and unexpected. He doesn't know how old he is, his surname, or where he came from.

Background: When Arean was born into Tamriel, his father was already long gone. He was a bastard child. His surname translates to "Those Above the Gods", as his mother is from a wealthy, well known family. His mother feared being shunned by the community and her family for her illegitimate child, so she sold her son to a brothel when he was only an infant. He grew up under the care of the owner until he was old enough to be put to use. He was forced to do the many unspeakable things one would expect from a brothel. It was either that, or be thrown out on the streets where he couldn't survive. When he finally saved up enough coin he left the brothel in search of a fresh start, one of his choosing. Because of his past, which he prefers not to speak about, he has yet to fall into bed with someone outside of his Brothel days and keeps this a secret as no one has seen him in an intimate setting yet.

And yet it was not badly written. :)
Besides, sometimes the best back stories are the shorter ones, enough to give character motive and a sense of history, not enough to give everything away ooc. Room for the random surprise ;)
