Name: Drieden
Age: 32
Race: Argonian
Flair: Red war paint over orange fiery eyes
Background:
Drieden i an argonian, but unlike other argonians, he has no connection to the hist. When argonians are first hatched, they are given small amounts of hist sap to give them a connection to the hist and to other argonians spiritually. But when Drieden was born, he was given the infused ash of red mountain. He was an experiment; the product of the enigmatic dark elf Sorcerer Ocato Verassa. Ocato had been searching for a way to make the argonians into more reliant slaves, by giving them a connection to the land the Dunmer were native to. Argonians would prove to be the most vulnerable of all the races because of their interactions with outside influences. If exposed to different substances of varying cultures during their egg stages of birth, they would prove to have an affinity to that area. Most argonians that Ocato gave the ashes to, had been turned into horrifyingly powerful, fire wielding, dreadnoughts of destruction. Drieden, however, having been born under the sign of the shadow, was imbued with an affinity to shadows, as all argonians born under the same sign are. He was "raised" by Ocato (Rigorous tests and painful experiments) until proving to be too spiteful too resentful, and most importantly, dangerous. Most followers of Ocato were loyal to the bone, Many would lay down their lives for him as he was a force to be reckoned with in the ebb and flows of Morrowind politics and it always pays to be the finger of the hand wielding the power. But Drieden was different, He would defy his overlords outright and even go as far as to use some of the power given to him by the ash of the mountain to attempt to escape. He even went as far at to make an attempt on Ocatos life, only to be blasted of a cliff by Ocatos magical prowess.
Upon recovering, Drieden then decided to make his way to Marshwood and attempt to reconnect with his people. He tried to join with the local argonians only to be shunned as ash born. To them, he was an unnatural creature, hardly argonian. They couldn't not sense him within the hist and therefore wanted nothing to do with him. He would wallow is resentment and despair in a small argonian village near the coastal edges of Marshwood where pirates attacked and managede to kidnap Drieden. After being picked up by khajiti pirates, we was made a slave laborer. Many months past he remained this way until slaying one of the crew members. Drieden worked his way to the main deck of the ship assassinating any who stood between him and his goal. He managed to escape of the side of the ship and into the water where he would attempt to swim to safety. But after a day of swimming, he grew tired and passed out from exhaustion and hypothermia.
Drieden drifted for a great distance, never drowning thanks to his natural argonian abilities. He eventually washed up on the shore of Grahtwood. The Woodelves would happen to take him in after finding his body washed to shore. Their kindness, being the first people to treat Drieden well during his time on Nirn, fascinated Drieden into studying deep into their culture. He traveled all over valenwood, lending his aid to the people who had saved him. Even manged to land a job as a daedra hunter. Drieden traveled all over seeking a way to become more entwined with wood elf society. They introduced to him the ways of the green but because he was not a Bosmer, he would never be bound by their laws. It was in greenshade when he met Ruindel along the road one day. The two were traveling alone down the road and decided to travel together for safety. they quickly learned they had many things in common and were fast friends. They were soon to get married shortly after that. Their fate has yet to be determined...
