100 questions time!
Part 1: The Basics
1. What is your full name?
Peridota. It is a bit of an unusual name for a Khajiit. It comes from the gem Peridot, which her father found in their mine and saved them from financial ruin, and is the color of her eyes (Strange coincidence, maybe?)
2. Where and when were you born?
2E 557. Family mine/farm west of Senchal, Elsweyr.
3. Who are/were your parents? (Know their names, occupations, personalities, etc.)
Father: Do’Razahn – former guard in Senchal, now a gem miner. Patient, Honorable
Mother: Jo’Dahna – Healer, merchant for the mine. Caring, Domineering
4. Do you have any siblings? What are/were they like?
None
5. Where do you live now, and with whom? Describe the place and the person/people.
Peri has no specific home currently. She often camps out in the wilderness, but has been spending much time in S’renja.
6. What is your occupation?
Miner/Geologist, Blacksmith, S’renja guard.
7. Write a full physical description of yourself. You might want to consider factors such as: height, weight, race, hair and eye color, style of dress, and any tattoos, scars, or distinguishing marks.
Height: 6’11”
Weight: 300lbs
Race: Cathay-Raht Khajiit
Hair: Light red/orange
Eye color: Peridot Green
Style of dress: Heavy armor when on duty with a large, heavy shield. Dresses and other comfortable wear when not on duty, she is barefoot when not in armor.
Accent: Khajiit.
8. To which social class do you belong?
Merchant/tradesman
9. Do you have any allergies, diseases, or other physical weaknesses?
Her large size makes her a bit slower than others.
10. Are you right- or left-handed?
Right
11. What does your voice sound like?
Deep for a female, but calm and soothing when relaxed. Becomes almost a roar when angry or stressed.
12. What words and/or phrases do you use very frequently?
She uses the word “most” before a lot of words. She also does not often abbreviate other’s names when speaking to them (Which is odd because she abbreviates her own.)
13. What do you have in your pockets?
She always keeps a small magnifier, geologist notebook, and a few of her favorite stones in her pack.
14. Do you have any quirks, strange mannerisms, annoying habits, or other defining characteristics?
Peri can get embarrassed rather easily; she also tends to use humor (often uncharacteristically sarcastic) as a coping mechanism for stressful times. She often does not speak unless spoken to, but is a bit more open toward other Khajiit than non-Khajiit.
Part 2: Growing Up
15. How would you describe your childhood in general?
Peri’s childhood was one of familial warmth and much responsibility. Her parents were loving and caring, but also instilled a great sense of duty to herself and others.
16. What is your earliest memory?
Peri remembers the first time her father gave her his small hatchet and let her spend a night in the small patch of woods near their house. Peri will always remember the exhilaration and excitement of her first real exploration.
17. How much schooling have you had?
Little formal schooling, she learned everything she knows about geology, mining, and smithing from her father. He spent much time teaching her all he knew. She learned healing arts from her mother.
18. Did you enjoy school?
She enjoyed learning new things and applying it to everyday life.
19. Where did you learn most of your skills and other abilities?
Peri learned to fight and support healing while in the Elsweyr military.
20. While growing up, did you have any role models? If so, describe them.
She admired and loved her father greatly when growing up. He was strong willed, kind, and intelligent.
21. While growing up, how did you get along with the other members of your family?
Peri grew up in a loving home, there was little conflict.
22. As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
Explorer
23. As a child, what were your favorite activities?
In her free time, Peri would often climb to the top of a waterfall near her home and often spend hours just looking out in all directions. The Topal Bay to the north, Senchal to the East, and mountainous forest to the west and south. She wanted to see it all.
24. As a child, what kinds of personality traits did you display?
Peri was quiet and obedient, but would immediately run off once her responsibilities were completed.
25. As a child, were you popular? Who were your friends, and what were they like?
Peri was neither popular nor unpopular; she made friends with the children from other farms in the area or with the many caravans on their way to Senchal.
26. When and with whom was your first kiss?
She had her first kiss in her teens with a khajiit named Rakha, the son of another farmer near her family. Shortly before Peri turned 17, Rakha’s family sold their farm to join a trade caravan heading north and left the area.
27. Are you a virgin? If not, when and with whom did you lose your virginity?
Peri is not. Peri and Rakha got together the night before his family was to leave. They had been good friends but never in a serious relationship together. They decided share their first times with each other so that they may always have a special shared memory between them.
28. If you are a supernatural being (i.e. mage, werewolf, vampire), tell the story of how you became what you are or first learned of your own abilities. If you are just a normal human, describe any influences in your past that led you to do the things you do today.
Peri’s experience in mining and penchant to explore led her to join the military. There she journeyed all around Elsweyr and truly fell in love with her home and its people.
Part 3: Past Influences
29. What do you consider the most important event of your life so far?
The day Peri decided to leave home to see what was out there was the day her life truly began.
30. Who has had the most influence on you?
Peri’s parents have had the greatest influence on her; she always looks at her actions and tries to do the things that would make her parents proud.
31. What do you consider your greatest achievement?
Peri saved Clanmother Arisel from the poison and injuries caused by a Dark Brotherhood attack. She never expected her healing abilities to be so potent.
32. What is your greatest regret?
Peri does her best not to regret what she has done, but instead learns from her mistakes and tries to better herself.
33. What is the most evil thing you have ever done?
Peri strives to avoid evil acts at all cost.
34. Do you have a criminal record of any kind?
None
35. When was the time you were the most frightened?
Peri was most afraid during the Thalmor attack on S’renja. She had never before seen such powerful necromancy in person.
36. What is the most embarrassing thing ever to happen to you?
When Ma’zura let slip in public about an “encounter” between the two of them. Peri is no prude, but does get embarrassed when it is about her.
37. If you could change one thing from your past, what would it be, and why?
Peri would not change anything; it has all made her who she is today.
38. What is your best memory?
Peri always remember that first night her parents let her camp in the woods. She always seeks to recreate that feeling of excitement and independence in her adventures.
39. What is your worst memory?
When Qa’iit left, she lost one of the people she respected the most in her life.
Part 4: Beliefs And Opinions
40. Are you basically optimistic or pessimistic?
Optimistic
41. What is your greatest fear?
Being unable to help those around her in their time of need.
42. What are your religious views?
Peri follows the Khajiit Pantheon, with specific devotion to S’rendarr, protector of mortals. She is tolerant of others’ views, but is highly distrustful of most Daedra worship.
43. What are your political views?
Peri has a strong sense of pride in the Khajiit. She is quickly angered by any discrimination or treatment of Khajiit as “beasts” by other races. She believes all races would do well to respect and tolerate each other.
44. What are your views on sex?
Peri views sex as something that can range from a fun time to a most sacred bonding experience. She will pursue those she is interested in, but does not like to make a spectacle of it, and will often be embarrassed when speaking about it out loud.
45. Are you able to kill? Under what circumstances do you find killing to be acceptable or unacceptable?
Peri believes killing in self defense or the defense of others is perfectly acceptable and necessary. She will never start a fight, but will defend herself fiercely.
46. In your opinion, what is the most evil thing any sentient being could do?
Doing anything that diminishes another’s worth or humanity is unspeakable.
47. Do you believe in the existence of soul mates and/or true love?
Peri believes they do exist, as she feels she has seen an example of it in her parents’ relationship.
48. What do you believe makes a successful life?
Peri believes happiness in oneself and a trail of good deeds left behind make a successful life.
49. How honest are you about your thoughts and feelings (i.e. do you hide your true self from others, and in what way)?
Peri does her best to avoid unnecessary conflict and wills sometimes hold in her thoughts if she thinks it will cause too much trouble.
50. Do you have any biases or prejudices?
Peri has a bias of preference toward Khajiit and a bias against vampires and werewolves until they prove they are not a threat.
51. Is there anything you absolutely refuse to do under any circumstances? Why do you refuse to do it?
Peri will not harm an innocent. This includes vampires and werewolves that have not been proven to have caused harm to others.
52. Who or what, if anything, would you die for (or otherwise go to extremes for)?
Peri will die defending her friends or others who can not defend themselves from those that wish them harm.
Part 5: Relationships With Others
53. In general, how do you treat others (politely, rudely, by keeping them at a distance, etc.)? Does your treatment of them change depending on how well you know them, and if so, how?
Peri is polite and formal with those she does not know. As she gets to know and trust someone she will open up and become a little more humorous and warm.
54. Who is the most important person in your life, and why?
Her parents. They helped her become who she is today.
55. Who is the person you respect the most, and why?
Peri greatly respected Qa’iit for his great strength and devotion to duty. She was deeply saddened when he left.
56. Who are your friends? Do you have a best friend? Describe these people.
Friends: Ma’zura, Bbigeargo, Afer the Infallible, Shere’Khaann, Bethany
Acquaintances: Dar’Atrabi, Ri’sari, Arisel, Ainoath

58. Have you ever been in love? If so, describe what happened.
Not yet.
59. What do you look for in a potential lover?
Peri seeks kindness, strength, and a good heart. Although she has been known to be seduced by honeyed words and flattery.
60. How close are you to your family?
Peri is very close and misses them often. She writes letters telling them of her adventures.
61. Have you started your own family? If so, describe them. If not, do you want to? Why or why not?
Not yet, Peri will wait and see what the future holds.
62. Who would you turn to if you were in desperate need of help?
Peri would turn to her friends in the Clan; they are the strongest together rather than individually.
63. Do you trust anyone to protect you? Who, and why?
Peri trusts her fellow guards to have her back, just as she has theirs.
64. If you died or went missing, who would miss you?
Peri hopes the entire clan would feel her absence.
65. Who is the person you despise the most, and why?
Peri does not like Gnarlus, particularly because of the recent revelation regarding his feud with Ri’sari. She tolerates him because the others in the clan accept him.
66. Do you tend to argue with people, or avoid conflict?
Peri avoids conflict; she will often let others have their way unless she feels it is truly unwise or unsafe.
67. Do you tend to take on leadership roles in social situations?
Peri is a follower rather than a leader.
68. Do you like interacting with large groups of people? Why or why not?
Peri can handle large groups for a time, but she will often retreat to be on her own or with only a few good friends afterward.
69. Do you care what others think of you?
Peri wishes to others to see her as a strong protector and tries her best to project that image.
Part 6: Likes And Dislikes
70. What is/are your favorite hobbies and pastimes?
Peri enjoys camping and hunting for new and interesting rocks. Also eating.
71. What is your most treasured possession?
Peri has a ring in which a Peridot gem from her family’s mine is set. It is her constant connection to home.
72. What is your favorite color?
Peridot Green.
73. What is your favorite food?
Sweetrolls, Sweetrolls, Sweetrolls.
74. What, if anything, do you like to cook?
Peri’s cooking is limited to basic campfire and skillet skills,
75. What is your idea of good entertainment (consider music, movies, art, etc.)?
A good story is her favorite form of entertainment.
76. Do you smoke, drink, or use drugs? If so, why? Do you want to quit?
She drinks lightly, but often prefers a mug of ginger ale. She does no drugs. Her father was a guard in Senchal before buying the mine, and he told her of the addicts he had seen at their worst and warned her against ever tempting fate and participating in drug use.
77. How do you spend a typical Saturday night?
Peri will often go to the tavern to see her friends then retreat to her camp outside of town to admire the beauty of the sky.
78. What makes you laugh?
Silly pranks, bad puns, and Ma’zura’s stories.
79. What, if anything, shocks or offends you?
Talk that demeans another maliciously.
80. What would you do if you had insomnia and had to find something to do to amuse yourself?
Peri would go for a walk in the dark and find a quite place to stop and just listen to the sounds around her.
81. How do you deal with stress?
Peri uses uncharacteristic sarcasm and jokes when she gets stressed.
82. Are you spontaneous, or do you always need to have a plan?
Peri likes to know what is happening ahead of time.
83. What are your pet peeves?
Lies and deceit.
Part 7: Self Images And Etc.
84. Describe the routine of a normal day for you. How do you feel when this routine is disrupted?
Peri will wake up in her camp and get it packed away for the day; she will head to a blacksmith station to keep in practice her craft. From there she is usually on duty in S’renja and watches over the town and her friends. When her shift is up, she will usually stay in the tavern and talk with those she knows.
85. What is your greatest strength as a person?
Her devotion to duty and those around her.
86. What is your greatest weakness?
Peri is not the most confident person. It often limits her abilities especially those in the healing arts.
87. If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
Peri would wish to have more confidence.
88. Are you generally introverted or extroverted?
She is more introverted and usually must be spoken to in order to start a conversation.
89. Are you generally organized or messy?
Peri is organized
90. Name three things you consider yourself to be very good at, and three things you consider yourself to be very bad at.
Good at: Shield skills, Blacksmithing, Mining
Bad at: Weapon Skills, Speaking her mind, Alchemy

Yes
92. What are your reasons for being an adventurer (or doing the strange and heroic things that RPG characters do)? Are your real reasons for doing this different than the ones you tell people in public? (If so, detail both sets of reasons…)
Peri fell in love with exploration as a child and wishes to continue that passion.
93. What goal do you most want to accomplish in your lifetime?
Peri wishes to see all there is to see and help as many others as she can.
94. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Peri may return to her home and spend some time with her family after being away so long.
95. If you could choose, how would you want to die?
Old age or defending one her friends.
96. If you knew you were going to die in 24 hours, name three things you would do in the time you had left.
Eat a whole baking sheet of sweetrolls, find someone to spend the last hours with, sit by a stream in the mountains and just listen.
97. What is the one thing for which you would most like to be remembered after your death?
Peri wants to be remembered as a strong protector.

Peri, you are limiting yourself by not having confidence in your abilities. You have shown that your healing skills are good, but that doubt you always have is keeping them from being great.
