Name: Vengeance of Akatosh, (Bishol Lo’kash)
Age: 41
Race: Orc
Flair:

Large scar running down right eye.
Many long healed scars and stab wounds mar his green flesh.
Akaviri and Orcish tribal tattoos cover both arms.

Rumors:
Several Dominion Soldiers have been overheard speaking of the newest member of the Dominion. An ugly, rude old orc who appears to have managed to trick the Queen into allowing him into the Dominion lands. Whether he is a Covenant spy, a bandit on the lamb, or something else, they all can agree that he was sad. Sad, and oh so angry.

Background:

Angry, distrustful and foul mouthed, Vengeance of Akatosh refuses to give out his real name or his history to anyone. He is known to be overconfident and sometimes cruel. Kahjitt who claim to have known him before he joined the Dominion say that when one earns his respect, he opens up to be a kind hearted, surprisingly gentle and humorous being who has simply been hurt one too many times.

Born high in the Dragontail Mountains, in an average sized Orcish Stronghold, of the chief’s three sons, Bishol Lo’kash was the middle child. Training how to use a variety of weapon styles from birth, Bishol was also trained in Blacksmithing, as his mother was the chief’s forge wife. Having a close relationship with his older brother, Grolsh Lo’kash, the two spent long summer nights sneaking away from the stronghold and sparring in the fields. On one of these occasions, the pair was attacked by a large bear, and they worked together to defeat it, bringing meat, bones and furs to the tribe.

Both were strong, but as they got older, Grolsh became more irritable. Their father was seen as weak and complacent. Grolsh wished to begin raiding nearby settlements, as their Stronghold’s area was becoming increasingly empty of resources. When his father refused, Grolsh began striking off on his own, attacking caravans traversing passes through the mountains. Convincing Bishol to follow him, the pair raided a small and undefended Redguard camp. Urging his brother to move on to prey that can fight back, Grolsh attacked anyway, slaughtering defenseless merchants. Knowing that Malacath would not honor their actions, Bishol attacked his own brother, defending the Redguards who were left. Grolsh fought back, and the two found themselves evenly matched. A redguard woman soon took up arms and pushed the fight in Bishol’s favor, driving Grolsh into the mountains. Bishol was wounded, and the survivors took him in.

The Redguard Woman’s name was Maela, and was the daughter of a powerful member of the Crowns in Hammerfell. She was more open minded than her kin, and as they travelled across Hammerfell, Bishol healing slowly, the two formed an unexpected bond. When their love was revealed, Maela’s father threatened to disown her if their romance continued, claiming that he’d rather she fell in love with her horse, for at least the Horse wouldn’t strangle her in her sleep. Heartbroken, Bishol left, travelling back to his Stronghold. On the way he was stopped by Maela, who had chosen him over her family. Overjoyed, Bishol abandoned thoughts of his stronghold and the two created a life for themselves at the base of the mountains. Every other Redguard town wanted nothing to do with an Orc and a Redguard, so they stayed away from civilization entirely. Maela would tend to the crops, and Bishol would often travel up the mountain slopes, bringing back game for dinner. Maela also taught Bishol more civilized customs, as well as how to read and write. They lived peacefully, but contently. Soon word of the Daggerfall Covenant reached them, of Orcs, Redguards and Bretons living together. While not a fan of Bretons, Bishol and Maela considered returning to civilization if their love would be able to exist within it.

Upon returning late one hunting trip, Bishol found his house being raided by Orcs from his old stronghold, the party lead by none other than Grolsh himself. One orc lay dead, a pitchfork through it’s neck, and another had a large gash across his cheek. Tied in the corner of the house was Maela, where the orcs were extracting a blood price, where the guilty bleeds until the victim is satisfied that the debt is repaid, for their murdered kin. She had bled out a lot, and was barely conscious, but Bishol theorized she could have been saved as long as he worked quickly. Grolsh was obviously now the chieften of their old Stronghold, and had not forgotten Maela or Bishol’s betrayal. Beheading Maela, Grolsh and Bishol fought again, only this time Bishol was the one outnumbered. Without much in the way of training for the past decade, Bishol was quickly taken down and brought back to the Stronghold, where Grolsh was to extract his own blood price from Bishol.

Bishol was broken, and pleaded with Malacath to grant him the peace of death. Instead, he was racked with nightmares, reliving Maela’s torture and beheading at the hands of his brother. Returning to their stronghold, Bishol discovered his brother had transformed his clan into a massive stronghold of bloodthirsty raiders. He recognized very few, assuming the rest were dead, whether by his brother’s hands or not he could only imagine. Distinctive lion banners now hung from the towers, and Bishol knew that the Covenant was here, and were not something he wished to be a part of. Torturing him for days, Grolsh decided he had enough, tying Bishol to a post to starve to death, overlooking the field they once played in as youths.
That night, an orc woman freed him, giving him a load of food, a longsword and some fur armor. Fleeing towards Skyrim, Bishol realized the next morning, when the light finally dawned on his new blade, that it was his mother’s creation, and that she must have been the one to free him. Vowing to return and slay his brother and corrupt clan, Bishol travelled to Skyrim, taking refuge in strongholds that would allow him to enter. He learned from those he met along the way, as well as hearing rumors of an invasion by the Akavir. Gathering books where he could, Bishol learned of the eight divines, taking the most comfort in Akatosh, the Dragon god of time. Using Akaviri arts passed down from the ancients, and the power of Dragons, Bishol became a Dragon Knight. Considering joining the Ebonheart Pact that had recently formed, Bishol’s hatred of Dark elves and slavery caused him to instead turn south, heading through Cyrodill, to Elswyr.
Living among the Kahjitt, who treated him as an equal, gave him a newfound respect for them, and eventually, he was welcomed into the Dominion army. Throwing away his old name, instead calling himself “Vengeance of Akatosh,” he has become little more than an empty shell who seeks to bring the vengeance of Akatosh upon his brother, his old clan, and all those who stand in the way of him and his new allies.
