Name: Braegon Silinius
Born: 2e 540 in a small village in Auridon
Age: 42 by start of game
Race: Altmer
At a glance: Eyes are ice blue; hair is white, but he keeps it short; tall, lean and athletic; when he does speak, his voice is smooth and low.
Flair: Small slash extending from just under the cheek bone to about an inch from the corner of his mouth on right cheek; speaks rarely, if at all; suffers from temporary bouts of madness in which he may speak incoherently; suffers from insomnia; carries an obviously Bosmer style bow and wears a gold ring, which resembles twigs intertwining on a chain around his neck.
Rumors: Not much is known about Braegon, since he keeps to himself and doesn't speak freely to others. He may tell you about himself if he trusts you enough. RP and find out.
Background: At age 11, parents are murdered by unknown assassin cloaked in black. The reasons are still unknown to this day. Braegon witnesses this from the shadows and the shock renders him dumb for many, many years. Raised from then on by his father's sister, who is a mystic and sorceress; she begins to teach him the dark arts of daedric summoning and storm calling.
At age 20, Braegon leaves the village and his aunt for the Mages guild, where he is then sent off with other recruits for more training, enhancing his knowledge of destruction magic. While at school, he meets and falls in love with Casfrina Nightbrook, a Bosmer student whose focus is mainly healing and restoration magic. She is the only person able to break his silence since he sees his parents' murder. They marry in 2e 565 and become active members in the Mages Guild. Peace ensues for almost 13 years.
In 2e 578, unrest begins in Cyrodil and following the betrayal of Mannimarco, a war begins between Mundus and the realm of Molag Bal. One year later, Casfrina and Braegon are sent from the Mages Guild to join others in the beginning stages of the war. Casfrina dies in battle just before the Soulburst. In honor of his wife, Braegon carries her bow and her ring around his neck.
Since the Soulburst in 2e 579, Braegon often suffers from episodes of madness. These are generally of short duration, consisting mostly of visions of his parents' murder and the loss of Casfrina. Sometimes, images of a more prophetic nature manifest, involving the merge of Molag Bal's realm with that of Mundas.
Wary of others, Braegon mostly keeps to himself, but is not altogether unfriendly. Since the death os his aunt (the Soulburst is believed to have driven her mad, causing her susequent death), he rarely returns to his home village, preferring the solitary life of a wanderer. Though finding his parents' killer is constantly on his mind, for the sake of his sanity, he hasn't made finding them a priority.
