Background: Verymas was born on an island in the far east of Morrowind. He gew up as a cousin of the heir to the High Seat of the great House Telvanni. A rivalry quickly sprang up between Verymas and his cousin, who was envious of his quick mastery of the arcane arts. The two were polar opposites: Verymas was reasonable and kind, his cousin was impulsive and cruel. Through a series of unfortunate events involving this rivalry, which he does not like to recall, Verymas went into self-imposed exile from his homeland. After years of traveling Tamriel and making his fortune as a merchant and mage for hire, he encountered a strange priest in Riften who presented him with a startling revelation about the Alliance War, which caused him to seek out an alliance with one of the Great Houses of the Altmer and ultimately join the Aldmeri Dominion.
Though Verymas is undoubtedly a generous and helpful mage, he often displays an arrogance that tends to intimidate those he encounters. This had lead to a tendency for him to get into trouble that might have been easily avoided if he had taken a more humble approach.
Having secured his place in the Dominion, Verymas is currently looking to expand his influence and aid the war effort, in addtition to making a profit. He is driven by a specific, secret purpose which he would share only with those who proved trustworthy...
