Tierran is a large-featured, tall and muscular Altmer who has emerald green eyes. Even though Altmer are typically tall, she towers over even them. Despite being sensitive about her stature, Tierran is boisterous, mischievous and playful. She is a crafter, minstrel and horsemaster, sticking mostly to cities except to find raw materials, travel or ride her fair beasts Baenlin and Aristel. She is friendly, moral and is loyal to the Dominion.

Tierran always wears fine, hand-crafted garb and would rather make new gear than repair what has been damaged. Her only consistent piece of equipment is her frost staff Vonketh, which was given to her by the Grandmatron of her family before her death. The staff has been upgraded and repaired many times, and is marked with chinks and scratches from battle.


Rumors:

-An intricate and delicate silver bracelet can be seen on her left wrist

Tierran grew up in Skywatch as an only child in a well-off, and reputable family. They were always comfortable, and she never wanted for anything growing up, aside from companionship and a little adventure. When she was a child, her father gifted her with two horses, Baenlin and Aristel, of a special breed that live almost as long as Mer. Her mother was always distant and cold with Tierran. As she grew up, she began to recognize that her parents saw supremacy in their own race - a philosophy she did not share or respect, so Tierran eventually grew distant from both of her parents as she got older. She was always fiercely independent, so as a young adult began traveling around Auridon. After many years, she became acquainted with a ship captain who took her across the sea to Valenwood. She was enchanted, and fell in love with the land, so decided to make it her home.

Over the years she developed very fine crafting skills, and became a known merchant and minstrel in her new home. She would also come to make occasional trips deeper into the Valenwood and eventually to Elsweyr, in search of rarer materials for her customers. One of these trips would lead to a harrowing werewolf attack and Tierran's life changing forever. For every full moon, she loses herself to the beast that hides within her and becomes a threat to everyone near her. So when the moon is full, she travels deep into the Valenwood, far from her friends, horses and home, until she can return safely.

Part 1: The Basics

1. What is your full name?
Tierran Highlock

2. Where and when were you born?
I was born and raised in Skywatch

3. Who are/were your parents? (Know their names, occupations, personalities, etc.)

Father: Ganril - Is a very strict Altmer supremacist. Though he does not own slaves, he does not view any other race as equal to the Altmeri, and views Khajiits and Argonians as simple beasts. He was not very present at home, as he was always too taken with his scholarly and diplomatic endeavors.

Mother: Morlina - Is a well-sought after seamstress who taught me the basics of tailoring when I was a young girl. While she was kind, she was not very motherly when I was growing up. My mother has always been soft spoken, and has ultimately agreed with and supported my father's decisions.

4. Do you have any siblings? What are/were they like?
I do not have any siblings

5. Where do you live now, and with whom? Describe the place and the person/people.
I would not say there is any one place I call my home right now. I spend a lot of my time around S'ren-Ja and with the clan, but travel around often for adventure and for business.

6. What is your occupation?
I am a seamstress, blacksmith and woodworker by trade, and that is how I earn the bulk of my gold. My heart lies, however, in being a traveling minstrel, though it does not earn much in the way of coin.

7. Write a full physical description of yourself. You might want to consider factors such as: height, weight, race, hair and eye color, style of dress, and any tattoos, scars, or distinguishing marks.
Height: 7'6"
Weight: 295lbs
Race: Altmer
Hair: Dirty blonde, straight and shoulder-length
Eye color: Emerald Green
Style of dress: I enjoy switching up my outfits frequently, and take a keen liking to short dresses that show off my long legs. I wear a mix of clothing I have made myself, and clothing that others have made for me. I prefer to dress comfortably, but rarely sacrifice style to do so.
Marks: I possess a noticeable birthmark on my right shoulder blade, and have a large scar across the side of my upper thigh from where I was slashed with a sword many decades ago.
Accent: normal Altmer accent

8. To which social class do you belong?
I grew up a part of the upper class in Skywatch, but as I moved away preferred to consider myself a part of the merchant class.

9. Do you have any allergies, diseases, or other physical weaknesses?
I am a werewolf, something that I have not fully come to terms with but would like to learn to control. I am a physical danger to my friends and horses if I am not by myself when I turn, so I keep secluded around those moon phases.

Left-handed

11. What does your voice sound like?
Fairly deep for a woman, but you can still tell that I am a woman.

12. What words and/or phrases do you use very frequently?

I always carry at least one needle and some thread, and some gold

14. Do you have any quirks, strange mannerisms, annoying habits, or other defining characteristics?
I laugh a lot, sometimes inappropriately. Some folks may hold it in their regard that I drink too much, and I have sometimes been known to do ridiculous or embarrassing things while drunk. I tend to be very flirty, as well

Part 2: Growing Up[/color]

15. How would you describe your childhood in general?
In general I had a lonely childhood. I had friends and occasionally lovers, but yearned for more of a family than I had.

About 15 years, mostly in the arcane arts

I mostly enjoyed it, but there were aspects I did not like.

19. Where did you learn most of your skills and other abilities?
My mother taught me the fundamentals of tailoring when I was a young girl, skills I have developed upon my entire life. As a child I would see mages in the high court practicing magicka and became enthralled. I quickly developed skill in destruction magick, and in my last few years of school picked up a little bit of healing ability, though nothing compared to some of the talent she has seen since coming to S'ren-Ja.

20. While growing up, did you have any role models? If so, describe them.

I was not that close either either of my parents, and did not particularly like my father so was thankful he was not around at home much.

a great sorceress

Riding horses, singing, watching the sea

Playful, daydreamy, but with a keen aptitude to learn the subjects that interested her

25. As a child, were you popular? Who were your friends, and what were they like?
I had quite a few friends, but was also not "popular". My two close friends were Corellan, a boy whose father worked with mine who had a similar disinterest and dislike of our fathers' egos, and Andrana, a girl who I met at school who shared a my love of destruction magick. The three of us were close from fairly early on in life, and did most things together. Corellan was my first "crush" one could say.

26. When and with whom was your first kiss?
I shared my first kiss with Corellan when we were about twelve.

27. Are you a virgin? If not, when and with whom did you lose your virginity?
When I was 19 I had gotten over much of the insecurities I had about my stature, and that is when I began taking more notice in men. During our summer festival in Skywatch, many strangers from foreign lands came to enjoy the festivities, and with them came a Breton named Rodyrick. He was tall and muscular with dark hair, and kind, grey eyes. I had noticed him earlier in the evening, but did not expect it when he approached me after I played a song to compliment it and ask for a dance. We spent much of the night talking, laughing, dancing, and shared a drink or two. In the early hours of the morning, we took a walk along the shore where he kissed me in such a way I knew I would never forget our encounter. Right there on the beach is where we had each other, moonlight reflecting from the waves that broke gently on the shoreline. Rodyrick stayed for a few weeks following the festival, but eventually would leave to continue on his travels. I never did see him again, but will never forget that Breton or the few weeks we shared together.

28. If you are a supernatural being (i.e. mage, werewolf, vampire), tell the story of how you became what you are or first learned of your own abilities. If you are just a normal human, describe any influences in your past that led you to do the things you do today.
About 4 years before becoming acquainted with the Clan, I was on one of my usual trips through Valenwood and to Elsweyr to find a rare material for one of my most particular customers. Though I don't remember much of that day, or of the attack, I do know that I was attacked by werewolves and would eventually become one of the beasts. I am coming to terms with it, still, and would hope one day to control it.

Part 3: Past Influences[/b][/color]

29. What do you consider the most important event of your life so far?
The decision to leave Skywatch to experience more of Tamriel, and the cultures of other races.

30. Who has had the most influence on you?
The various people I have met along my near century of traveling - or my father, making me deterrent from holding his world views and beliefs

31. What do you consider your greatest achievement?
Mastering destruction magick, and training my three amazing horses.

32. What is your greatest regret?
Staying in Auridon for so long before experiencing more of the world - but I also simultaneously it having been so long since I have even returned home for a visit.

36. What is the most embarrassing thing ever to happen to you?
I was in a tavern in a little place in, I think, Malabal Tor and had entirely too much to drink. While I was playing a song, someone suggested it would be lovely to see me dance upon the table, a thought that at the time I evidently shared. Well, it was one of those taller, smaller in diameter and held up by a single post in the middle- type bar tables, and no sooner did I hop up and do a spin, than come crashing down upon 2 more tables and the bar, knocking the tap right off of a cask using my head. Merely a tangle of broken wood, extremities, and soaked garment was I for several moments of horrible silence before everyone in the establishment began roaring with laughter at my expense...

37. If you could change one thing from your past, what would it be, and why?
I would probably sail to other lands with Rodyrick when he left, instead of lingering in Auridon for several more decades.

The fond evening spent with Rodyrick, so very, very long ago.

Optimistic

I am very open about sexuality, and have had many partners in my life. I am not easy, but I'm not that difficult either.

I could easily kill in self-defense, and could possibly do a mercy killing if need be, but in general I have a difficult time killing.

46. In your opinion, what is the most evil thing any sentient being could do?
Torture someone in any way

Not really, anymore, though I used to when I was younger and more naive

Happiness

I am very honest with my thoughts and feelings

I tend to find myself hoping that other Altmer I meet are as open minded as me, and are not as pompous as others I have seen.

Betray a friend. A mer is only as good as her word

I would die for those I would call friends, or to protect others from injustices done to them

I am very friendly and open to pretty much everyone but tend to poke fun of my closer friends (in a playful yet still endearing way)

I respect Captain Bethany Hawke for the outstanding character she has exhibited since I met her. There are few dull moments in S'ren-ja, and she has handled all untoward occurrences with notable grace and patience.

I am single, and do not really commit easily

I have been in love a few times in my life, but eventually grew apart from all of them, and have not spoken to any of them since

Must be playful and have a good sense of humour, and I am very attracted to kindness. Generally prefer tall men and Mer, but height is not as important to me as a lean body.

I have not spoken to them in near a century.

I have not started my own family, yet, and have not really considered doing so very much. Perhaps in the future, but for now I am content with my travels and to have the occasional person to bed.

I drink very frequently, some may think too frequently. I also enjoy pipeweed from time to time, and have no intention of quitting either

84. Describe the routine of a normal day for you. How do you feel when this routine is disrupted?
Wake up, usually hurting a little from the night before, and get a good amount of water in me before grabbing something to eat. I usually buy my food, sometimes I find it myself. I will check the market to see if my customers are in need of anything, then begin my day harvesting or crafting what is needed. In the evenings, I will make my way back to S'ren-ja to spend time with the clan, play some music and have some drinks. I have a fairly loose schedule, and will change it without qualms as long as my customers still get what they ask for.

my optimism and good-naturedness

I would make myself a more normal height

Tierran! You need to watch how much you're drinking... You are bound to make a right fool of yourself if you keep at it the way you do. Also, be careful not to break anyone's heart by your lack of commitment.
