Lucrezia snuck down to the docks. She looked around to make sure she wasn't being followed. There were twice as many guards around since the disturbance at the meeting the night before. Ri'sari had said to only work on the ship at night, to not raise any suspicion. She wondered if anyone eles was going there tonight. She hoped she wasn't the first one to show up, she certainly didn't want to risk waking Gnarlus and be on the recieving end of one of his flame throwing outbursts.

She finally reached the end of the dock where the small board was placed next to the ship, to act as a pitiful excuse for a ramp. She slowly and quietly stepped up on the board, hopped up on the half column thing at the end of the dock and jumped over the gap between the ship and the dock.

She let out a sigh of relief when she landed on the ship, she was not in the mood for a moonlight swim tonight. Then she suddenly crouched down and into the shadows, she heard footsteps and voices getting closer.

Gnarlus was already on board preparing some food in the Galley for the workers he expected showing up that night. Setting the cauldron of Honey Pudding onto the fire, he proceeds to start on the Roasted Chicken. Perhaps he should try stuffing it this time with some vegetables.
"Kolmok, get some potatoes from deck." Gnarlus instructs the scamp in Goblish.
The scamp crackles, and scampers down the hallway to the pantry, but as it gets on deck, it sniffs the air, then turns it's head in the direction of Lucrezia.

Lucrezia froze when she saw Kolmok reach the deck of the ship. She had seen the...creature with Gnarlus many times, it always seemed friendly enough. Well, she had never seen it attack anyone. But she had never seen it on it's own before. Was it territorial? Did it sense fear?

She stood up and side stepped away from the darkness, so it could see her and hopefully recognize her. Then she did a sort-of half wave.

"Hi there. I'm, umm, here to see Gnarlus. Is that okay?" My Gods, she was speaking to it. Did she expect it to speak back? She wasn't sure.

She glanced around for the quickest way off the ship, in case it decided to charge at her.

Kolmok looked at Lucrezia for a moment, tilting its head, then turned away and proceeded across the deck to some sacks, picking one up before proceeding back into the ship. It leaves the door to the cabin open.

The guards paid no attention to a silent, lithe figure running crouched across the stone barrier at the dock’s edge. Its footfalls were unnaturally silent, as if the night itself lent power to augment the creature’s stealth. It climbed the wooden plank deftly, and with a jump that was just as silent, hopped onto the rickety ship.

Lucrezia was already there, along with Gnarlus’s familiar. The goblin’s skill as a sorcerer and summoner never ceased to amaze Donvyn. The vampire gently rustled the leather pack on his back to make some noise. Glass bottles of resin jingled against nails, supplies for repairing the leaky hold. He offered the two an amiable smile, somewhat diminished by his luminous red eyes.

Kolmok returned to Gnarlus with the Potato sack in arms. Tossing a Soul Shard to Kolmok, Gnarlus throws starts peeling and tossing the potatoes into the second Cauldron to boil. If Rune-Tail saw Gnarlus peeling potatoes with the "Twin-Catch" he made him before he left, he would probably faint. But it was the perfect size to peel two sides at once.

Lucrezia is relieved when Kolmok only looks at her, grabs a sack from the deck and returns inside. She turns and sees Donvyn coming aboard the ship, smiling at both of them. She returns his smile with one of her own and a shrug.

"I guess we're the first ones here." She says in a near whisper and then follows Kolmok inside the ship.

(Forgot to post this sooner but here it is now)

Bbigeargo walked casually down the docks of woodhearth threw the silent night while looking for for potential fishing spots, with his fishing poll slung over his left sholder huming "red diamond " quietly to him self . As he searched he glanced over at the ship stoping and remembering what he had heard about it and everyone getting ready to leave woodhearth. with all of the recant thalmor activity he couldn't blame them and then remembering how he heard the ship needed a lot of repairs as well and shrugged to him self and thought his help might be wanted / needed else where, and he doubt they would turn away any one willing to help with the ships repairs, after thinking for a bit he decided to go lend his help in repair and started walking down towards the ship.

As he got to the ship after using the makeshift ramp and jumped on to the ship and immediately swore loundly as he got an splinter in his tow and was about to curse the stupid ship but before he did he remember he was going to sail on it as well, then he decided that the deck will be the first thing he will ask to fix and glanced over to his left seeing the door he shrugged and limped over to the door leaning against it removing the splinter and then walked in side to find who ever was in charge of the repairs and deciding not to knock for he knows that he would never get let in so he just walked in not trying to be rude.

As he entered the ship he went and set his fishing pull and his pack down over in a corner out of the way and then made his way down the stairs to the lower deck and started looking for who was in charge to go talk to and offer his help with the repair as he leaned against the entryway his foot still swore from earlyer but the pain quickly subsiding.

(NOTE: I'm not sure if this takes place before or after repairs so I guest before)

Ri'sari brings a paw to his eyes, letting out a loud yawn. He rolled over in the bed, staring at the doorway for a long while.

Not dead yet.

Another yawn and he lifted himself up. The old be cried out with creeks that ring through below deck on the ship. His ears couldn't stop flicking as he yawned again, padding softly down to the Galley where every small noise being made rung in his ears and annoyed him.

Ri'sari slouched, green hues half-lid with a groggy face. A long lick to his lips at the smells of food.

"What is that Ri'sari smells you making, goblin?", the nude cat called out.

Lucrezia made her way down the steps, through the hallway and into the Galley. She was following the smell of something delicious cooking. She wondered what the Goblin was cooking this time, so far all the dishes she had sampled were pretty good. Between his cooking and Milo's, she was sure to never go hungry again.

She sat her bag on a table and went through it, pulling out bottles and setting them in a line on the table.

"Now before you get all fire happy, these are cleaning supplies. If we are all going to be staying here for a while, we might as well have the place look and smell nice." She said out loud and turned towards the cooking pot. She was shocked and embarrassed to see the back side of a nude Khajiit in front of her.

"Oh excuse me, I didn't realize this was a pants optional party." She said, her face slightly red. She went back to digging through her bag.

Donvyn followed Lucrezia down to the galley, sniffing lightly at the air: honey, chicken, boiled potatoes. It pained him that he could no longer stuff himself with delicious food - the times he had tried, it always sat in his stomach like a rock, uncomfortable and heavy until he became sick enough to rid himself of the dead weight. It always tasted divine, though. He would have to make do with small tastes, but never meals.

His view was met with the furry backside of Ri'sari. Though he had only spoken a single sentence to the khajiit before, Ri'sari's renown swirled about Woodhearth. Calomel had sworn that the black khajiit had killed a dear friend of hers, and everyone seemed to know that he was the face behind the blue bottles of skooma that fluttered through the black markets and discreet dealings - everyone seemed to know him or know about him. Donvyn idly wondered how Ri'sari had evaded capture, since he had hardly evaded suspicion.

Ignoring the display, Donvyn paused to examine the supplies that Lucrezia was lining up on the table. Even while they were corked, the scents of flowers, detergent, soap root, and spices reached his sensitive nose.

Gnarlus turns to Ri'sari, paying no attention to the meat (Whats Modesty to a goblin). While still peeling the potato he calls over. "Stuffed Chicken... Gnarlus try new thing. Stuff bread and Potato Mash in Chicken... Hopefully good, though this first time Gnarlus cook experiment with others but Sandy."

Kolmok meanwhile takes a cue from Gnarlus, dips in hands into the basin of Water, then grabs a potato from the sack, peeling it with one of its Sharp Claws, then tossing it into the cauldron. Seeing this, Gnarlus tosses another Petty Soul Gem towards Kolmok.

"There also Honey Pudding Boiling, though Gnarlus think good idea to cover Cat Meat before pouring, least you burn it." He cackles.

The other witness to Ri'sari's nakedness, J'vani eyed him in her peculiar, stoic way, from the other end of the teeny bar.

Apparently, she and the goblin, Gnarlus, had been having a conversation which Ri'sari had interrupted. J'vani had been nursing a mead of some sort, likely the one that the goblin had popularized with a sugar substitute.

"Warm sun and sands," she offered to all, without the hint of female discretion. Or humor, in particular.

He gave a grunt at the Goblin, walking behind the bar. He looked down at the Potato Mash and scooped up the whole bowl with either paw to sniff it. His tail bat against Gnarlus as he turned to walk away with the whole bowl. His paw was already half-way dug in to the mash, seemingly unconcerned with the many eyes and affairs of others as he would head back up the stairs to eat.

Bbigeargo then notice J'vani ,some one who he at has seen once before and shrugged figuring he would have to ask some one "who was in charge of repairs" adventyally and walked over to her hopeing she wasn't another mean person who simply bash his face in with her fist as he got close, but figured he might as well try to ask some one instead of sitting around all day a d approach the khajiit getting ready to ask his question and hopeing for the best

After Ri'sari leaves the room with a bowl of potato mash, Lucrezia pulls some rags out of her bag and a bottle of wine.

"I think this is white wine. Might go good with the food. Or maybe it can be used it to cook with. I thought it was mead, I'm not much of a wine drinker." She set it down in front of the Goblin and then sits back at the table, organizing her cleaning supplies.

She looks up an J'vani and Bbigeargo, only just now noticing them, and gives them both a smile. Then she remembers something.

"Gnarlus, didn't I see you at the docks the other night with a pretty young woman?" she asks with a grin.

Sighs as Ri'sari takes the whole bowl of Potato Mash and says "Well... Chicken stuffed with bread and peas." As he gets a bag peas and boils them atop of a mini fire he sets. He looks at Lucrezia and grins. "It strictly business..." he says.

Donvyn watched the naked khajiit leave with most of the food. Ri'sari was a mystery.

"Right..." he says a bit awkwardly. If he still possessed the ability to blush, Donvyn's cheeks would've certainly been red.

The dark elf decided to busy himself with rummaging through his pack, slotting a rawhide mallet into the sash tied around his waist. "I brought supplies for patching the hull. If you wish, I can get started locating the leaks," he piped up, choosing to ignore the comments Lucrezia made about the goblin and a lady friend.

((Sorry that I'm late to the show and have missed the past couple of in game RPs :( I'll try to get caught up a bit here))

Arisel yawned, rolling her sore shoulders as she walked down the docks in Woodhearth. Her sapphire irises glinted off the rising sun as she sees a ship that looked in need of repair and could tell just by the shape of it that this was the right ship she was looking for. Her absence in Grahtwood lately has put her behind on the events that have unfolded in Woodhearth, but when she arrived back she received a notice to find the ship owned by the goblin Gnarlus right away.

Yawning again, Arisel wondered what was going to happen now to those who had any dealings at all with the skooma trade after the Thalmor incident. Approaching the gang plank, she shifts her pack and looks around to make sure the area is safe before boarding. She then walks up the the door that leads below deck and knocks twice.

"Business? Is that what they call it now?" she teases but then adds, "Ok, I won't mention it again."

She pours a bit of liquid from a clear bottle onto one of the rags and uses it to start scrubbing the table she's at. Instantly, the wood starts to look much cleaner and shines. She notices it smells a lot better too. She nods her approval and keeps scrubbing.

"I'll be honest, I'm not good at fixing anything. I probably break stuff more than anything. But I can clean and possible help lifts things. I mean, I'm stronger than I look." She says out loud, to no one in particular. "Does anyone know how long it's going to take us to fix this ship? Or even what's all wrong with it?"

She looks around the room at the different faces, searching for an answer. Hoping that this will not be a long task and they can start sailing before the Thalmor causes any more trouble.

As Bbigeargo approached in a not-so-subtle way, J'vani shifted her attention to him.

Patient waiting did not seem to work initially on the khajiit, so she asked, "How can this one help? If she may say, you look as though you have something on your mind."

Donvyn looks to Lucrezia. "Ja'Amore was in charge of overseeing the repairs. From what I've gathered, the hull and sails are out biggest problems." He points a slender, pale finger down the hallway, to the general direction of the lower hold's hatch. "The hull has several leaks that need plugging." Donvyn pats the leather pack on his shoulder. "I brought tar and resins to repair them. We'll also need several people with buckets to bail out the water that's collected down below. You're welcome to help me, I'm sure dumping water over the side of the ship isn't something that can be so easily messed up." The sarcasm in his voice is light and amiable.

"Most of the work needed is above deck, though. That'll be difficult to complete without the Thalmor noticing. We need the mast repaired and fitted with booms, and we need sails and riggings. If you'd rather climb than wade knee-deep in water, then you can help with the riggings."

Lucrezia carefully listens to Donvyn explain all the repairs needing to be done to the ship. She looks to where he's pointing and nods when he's finishing explaining it all to her. She knew the ship was far from sea ready, but she had no idea the damage was so complicated. She hoped this would not be too overwhelming for them.

She weighed the options carefully before speaking, "Well how hard could dumping water really be?" she jokes.
IcyJul 06, 2014

Arisel paused a few seconds after knocking on the door of the ship, and a small feeling of annoyance crawls over her face. "Perhaps they are hiding? Or perhaps Arisel has the wrong boat... Let's find out." She sticks out one of her claws and places it in the door handle, wiggling it side to side while moving the handle a bit. After a small 'click' she grins and opens the door slowly, making sure this wasn't a pirate ship instead of the goblin's.

When she enters the ship she notices building and repair materials scattered all about. "This one must have found it," she whispers to herself as she begins walking down the hall. It is early in the morning, so she guesses that those aboard the ship already must be in their bunks. The thought of everyone asleep while she just broke into the ship makes her grin, and she makes her way towards the galley for food.

"The khajiit in charge is J'Amore of Ri'sari," J'vani answered. She cast her gaze around for the person in question, but it seemed that there were few here - the others, apparently, being at some other bar in the small barque. "He does not seem to be present at present moment." Eventually, she settled on Bbigeargo again, and offered him a patient smile.

"Forgive this one for being so very late to your claim. A thousand apologies. She hopes you and your mate do well? Shall the two of you be accompanying Ri'sari?"

Lucrezia grabs a bucket and proceeds to go below deck to clear out the water that's collected through the many leaks. When she gets to the flooded area, she sees that it's much worse than she thought it would be. The water comes up well above her knees, and even though she's a short wood elf, she can guarantee that this much water aboard a ship is a very bad thing.

"I hope this damn thing doesn't sink before we get to our destination." She says out loud.
