Enticed by the kindness he was shown from them when he was younger, Dar'Zahir grouped up with the Renrijra Krin, where he would travel from coast to coast raiding villages, to help his people.
3rd of Sun's Dawn 2E 572
With the rush of combat and sailing, with little else to do, Dar'Zahir became addicted to skooma.
21st of Second Seed 2E 575
It wasn't until he was deprived of it, on one of the raids, shaking during combat, that he realized the skooma was an issue, for the remainder of the trip, Dar'Zahir locked himself inside a cage below the ship, and told no one to let him out til they were home.
