Departments

I need all officers to state which department they would like to help with here. Every officer will need to be part of a department.

Have they changed? If not, I would like to remain within the RP department, helping folks with stories, RPing when able, etc.

Outside of Chronicle department, I have no preference. As is, I've been more of a background worker, helping out in the forums and in game wherever it looked like it would help. My only distaste is the Chronicle department, and that's only because I really have no taste for journalism, lol. I'll leave it up to the senior officers to decide which department is more understaffed, then I'll go from there.

Progression department mainly for me, since we discussed this :) Also, I will be sending out another mail some time this weekend about getting started. I'm going to try to set up Vet dungeon runs on the nights that work/don't run into guild RP stuff. I'm hoping a few people step up to lead a team because there's been waaay more than 4 applicants. Unfortunately we're heavy DPS and a little low on the tanks and healers, so Ri'sari we may end up having to step it up a little more to help people get these dungeons.

I am another for the RP department. I like to help others develop their characters and their skills of expression.

I don't want to say that we need officers to do jobs they don't want to do, but keep in mind that if the RP department ends up getting crowded, Ri'Sari and the senior officers will have to ask you to choose another department. RP guide is fun, getting to help people with their stories and characters, but 3/5 votes so far are for the RP department. We can't allow too many people to go to the RP department and then promote officers for the other departments, we'll end up with dozens of officers that way and too many officers is not a good thing.

You raise a very good point, Ma'Zha. Being a RP officer is much more work than any of the other positions and will undoubtedly require the most time. I am sure that will become apparent as everyone settles in to their departments.

I finally built the website structure for this today.

All officers with the exception of Ice-Eye (who is still on vacation) have been given a role. They are as follows:

• Lyrro - Diplomacy Officer
• Kish'na - Roleplay Officer
• Lucrezia - Scribe Officer
• Slips - Progression Officer
• J'vani - Roleplay Officer
• Quartoth - Roleplay Officer
• Milo - Roleplay Officer
• Qa'iit - Roleplay Officer

Senior Officers, please take charge of your department and search for more Officers if you feel yourself getting strained. Right now there are at least two to a department which is a good start.

I will be acting as the Roleplay Master for the time being. I have been largely absent from the current RP due to burnout and working very hard on many OOC guild tasks. I intend to remain the RP Master only until I am confident that someone understands what the position entails.

I do not intend to ever force anyone in to a role that they are not comfortable with. If you find you are not enjoying your department, please bring it up to me so we can switch your responsibilities for the guild! If you ever have trouble with another officer, please bring it up to me. :)
