King Camoran,
I realize it has been long since my last report; this was out of necessity. The Sugar-Claw Clan has avoided the Thalmor, but only barely. You probably have other reports about the violence that occurred as their ship left Woodhearth, so I won't bother you with details I didn't witness firsthand.
I made it aboard the ship under my identity as a moon sugar merchant. ________ was complicit in allowing me in to their planning meeting, and I volunteered supplies to help get them out of Woodhearth. (Strange that I can't write his name.) I figured the easiest way to regain peace was for them to leave.
I did not know our destination was Reaper's March. I had hopes they would take their trouble further from your kingdom, but this place is closer to the fields of moon sugar they require. Also, it is easier for their members to blend in with the local khajiiti.
We disembarked the ship yesterday and moved by caravan to the village of S'ren-Ja. Some conversations I overheard suggest that there is a local threat of vampires in the area. No, not counting those among the Clan, although the warrior Qa'iit seemed to think so.
I continue to observe according to my original orders. I have done my best to avoid altercations, mostly by pretending to be a weak combatant. I know Reaper's March and some of its people very well. I will soon reestablish the merchants who look to me for leadership and, Kynareth willing, will soon sign a contract of protection with the Sugar-Claw clan, avoiding more violence in the future.
I have attached my assessments and personality profiles of those I have interacted with who may be of interest.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Qa'iit : khajiit warrior, Sugar Claw champion. Seemed a little out of sorts on the ship, and really wants to kill vampires. I'll try to stay on his good side. Location: S'ren-ja
Gnarlus the goblin: somehow got left off his own ship. Presumed captured and killed by Thalmor. A shame, I was starting to tolerate him. Location: unknown
________: this clever Dunmer has some kind of magic that keeps me from reporting on him. He got a bad round of seasickness on the voyage. I get the impression he and I aren't too different, playing this game. Only I tend to tip my hand more often. Getting information from him is either an open trade or harder than an obsidian vault. Location: S'ren-ja, probably
J'vani: khajiit warrior, female. Still a mystery to me, but I feel like there's something more going on. She advises the young clan mother. Location: S'ren-ja
Donvyn: Dunmer vampire, not Altmer. Behaves himself quite well. Kept fed by a volunteer on the ship. Location: S'ren-ja
Swiftclaw: masked khajiit female. Provided medicine to the seasick. I'm beginning to memorize her voice in case I need a bargaining chip. Location: S'ren-ja
Arisel: female khajiit healer. She and others tried to avert a famine in Khenarthi's Roost; now she seems to be in with the Sugar-Claws. I'll see if she can be trusted. Location: S'ren-ja
Bbigeargo: male khajiit. friendly enough. I don't know what he does for the Clan. Recently married/betrothed? I need to brush up on my knowledge of khajiiti culture. Location: S'ren-ja
Sylvaswift: the black-furred khajiit from my first report. I find it difficult to talk with him, but less so than Ri'sari. Possibly intimate with _________. Damn, there's that magic again. I told him my idea for protection of the merchants to bring to Ri'sari. I couldn't read his reaction; he might be more clever than I thought. Also told him about Kazzah's little treachery. I hope that lights some fireworks. Location: S'ren-ja
Kazzah: calico male khajiit. Offered to protect my merchants if I gave him coin, not sharing with Ri'sari. I haven't seen him since hearing he got arrested and sprung out again. If he got 'disappeared', it wasn't me. Location: unknown
