Flair: As with other mixed race union, Eretria physically appears Wood Elf due to her mother. However she is a bit taller than the average Bosmer. Eretria has a golden dragon tattoo of High Elf design adorning her chest, upper arms and back. The other remarkable adornment that she wears is a intricate headband and matching earrings set with a vibrant red stone. She seems to value both the marking and adornment, but has not revealed their origins.

Eretria favors armor that does not restrict her movements, as opposed to heavier designs. She has studied basic armor making from a Argonian crafter, and has began practicing her craft.

Rumors:

Does not adhere to the practices of the Green Pact. Is largely ignorant of Bosmer society.

Background:

Eretria Stormbinder has never felt like she fit in. The product of a questionable union between Sarudalf Stormbinder and Legodra Nightvale, Legodra, a Bosmer, died in childbirth, and her father brought her back home to Skywatch. The Stormbinder family felt obligated to raise her, but she never felt fully welcome, and was always keenly aware, through her own awareness or reminders from other High Elf children, that she was different.

Sarudalf was a sorcerer of minor skill who wanted to be greater than he was capable. While he was kind to Eretria, as she got older he became more and more consumed with his studies in a futile attempt to advance himself. When she was 14 he attempted some kind of ritual that was beyond his abilities. What that ritual was has never been made clear to her, but it cost him his life.

Eretria was cared for by her Grandparents, who did so more out of obligation than love. When she showed any traits that were deemed "too Bosmer" she was punished harshly with a heavy strap. Driven by a need to prove herself, she excelled in her studies, and was found to share her father's affinity for magic, although it is not clear what her potential is. She also inherited her mother's skill with a bow, and as she became more and more resentful of her treatment by her grandparents and other High Elves began focusing on her skill with that weapon as her way of rebellion.

When she turned 17 she decided to leave home. She worked to earn her passage east on a merchant ship, and curious about her mother's people, traveled towards Valenwood. She soon found that she did not fit in with her Wood Elf kin any better than her High Elf. She found the cannibalistic practices of the Green Pact abhorrent, and furthermore was considered "too Altmer" and cold and aloof.

Finding no comfort there, Eretria has set out, seeking to find her own place in Tamriel. She takes whatever jobs she can, using ehr skills with the bow and magic to earn coin.
