-This one went to Rawl'kha today to buy reagents for some pain-relieving elixirs.

-Arisel ran into an old acquaintance from her childhood. He yelled this one's name rather loudly, attracting unwanted attention to her from the townsfolk and guards. This one hopes no Thalmor agents were around. Damn it Ja'lir why must you yell when Arisel is hiding beneath a hood. Khajiit are supposed to be sneaky, not put in the spotlight.

Reagents purchased:

  • x10 Bugloss
  • x5 Namira's Rot
  • x10 Mountain Flower
  • x2 Nirnroot

Today in S'ren-ja, this one is hearing more and more about an impending Thalmor attack when she returned. This one employed Bbigeargo to smith her some armor just to be safe. If her friends are attacked again, Arisel will be ready. This one has also used all of the reagents she bought today to craft elixirs. Some stem pain, others make people to go sleep, and there's a few that stem the flow of blood if applied directly. This one hopes she doesn't have to use any of these soon...

This one is pained to write this entry. During her last visit to Rawl'kha, there was a commotion in the street. Arisel overheard "Thalmor" and ran out of the city back towards S'ren-ja. This one ran and ran without stopping once. She knew something was not right to have caused that big of a commotion. When this one got to S'ren-ja, the town was in chaos. A Thalmor assassin had just taken the life of Ja'Amore, beloved by all those who knew him. There was nothing this one could do to save him since he was already gone. She was too late...

Overlooking the confusion and anger this one heard that he was poisoned with a fast acting Nightshade. So fast that Ja'Amore was gone before any healer could reach him. This one's heart is sad...

She then heard that Ri'sari had set ablaze a barrel of moon sugar, the carrier of the poison Ja'Amore ate. Someone mentioned that he had gone inside with a severely burned hand after lighting the barrel on fire. This one went in to investigate. She found Ri'sari standing by the window, tears streaming down his face. He was alone, so this one approached cautiously and laid a paw on his shoulder to try to comfort him. This one did not notice that J'vani had approached by now, standing behind Arisel. Together this one and J'vani tried to talk to Ri'sari. He wouldn't say anything for the longest time, but when he finally did he ordered for the skooma to be burned, and that he would do it himself.

This one and J'vani followed because they were worried about Ri'sari. This one was afraid he would do something rash.

On the way to the entrance to the skooma lab, we stopped where Ja'Amore's body was resting on a funeral pyre. Many surrounded it to pray and weep while Ri'sari lit it ablaze. He then walked up the hill to the well and jumped in. This one did not know what to do when he entered the well alone, but J'vani told Arisel to follow, so she jumped in too.

The lab was already burning by the time Arisel reached the edge of the bank into the cave. There was smoke everywhere. When Ri'sari emerged from the smoke he was covered in ash, and beckoned for Arisel to climb out of the well with him. This one obeyed. Back up top there were several people around the well now, wondering why there was smoke pouring out of it. Ri'sari told them that it was destroyed, and did something that surprised this one. He asked Arisel what he should do. This one was taken back. She's not even a member of the clan! This one told him that the clan needed him now more than ever because everyone is scared and angry. Ri'sari also allowed Arisel to heal is hand now before going back to the big house.

At the house this one met Maddisynn, a lovely Khajiit who is carrying Ri'sari's cub. By now J'vani has left, so it was up to this one and Synn to try to talk to Ri'sari. Ri'sari kept trying to blame himself for Ja'Amore's death, to which both this one and Synn told him he was wrong. This one is not sure what changed in Ri'sari at that point, but he pulled Synn close to him, then reached for this one too! Surprised but still wanting to help, this one obliged and leaned in close.

Synn had to leave after a while, and told Arisel to take care of Ri'sari. That's what this one was trying to do from the beginning! However, this one was not expecting Ri'sari for the invitation to go to bed with him. Atrabi noticed the invitation and said something about a possible claiming, making this one turn five different shades of red. She does not think such a thing would ever happen anyway, this one is too stubborn.

Anyway, after a horrible day for everyone in the clan, this one hopes that she has helped Ri'sari. Perhaps this will help him find a sliver of kindness in his heart? This one will find out eventually. Until then, she has pledged herself to the clan to help out in any way she can.

((From playing the assassin to helping Ri'sari on Arisel I had a blast with this RP. I figured out a way to work your dc into the mix too btw :P

PS: moving in to kill Ja'Amore was terrifying. There's nothing like 30 RPers all turning their blades on you at once haha))

This one will keep this entry short and sweet..

After the death of Ja'Amore, this one was called to Dune for an illness breaking out in the village. Arisel did not want to leave because she was worried about Ri'sari, but duties are duties and this one has a duty to Tamriel.

The illness was awful. Young and old, mer and man, coughing up blood, their eyes blood red. This one has only ever seen this much blood on a battlefield, not in a village full of merchants and traders. It took a few days trying different spells and reagents, but this one was able to quarantine those who were sick to heal them and keep the rest of the village from becoming sick. It was discovered that the illness came from a trader who's good were tainted when he traveled through the deserts of Alik'r. His goods were burned to keep everyone safe.

The village and now wary and recovering, but they survived. This one returned to S'ren-ja last night exhausted. The first thing this one did was wash away all of the blood covering her orange and black fur before finding a big bottle of mead to drown her wariness away.

Also, the Thalmor seemed to have attacked once more. This one was too exhausted to be of use, but the other healers were fine in handling the wounded. It seemed someone was stabbed in the belly? This one knows that wouldn't require an extensive surgery had they acted quickly, but she does not know the full details either. A wound such as that is easy to heal if one is quick and precise about it, this one knows personally with the scar to prove it.

This one also spoke with an exorcist known as A Gata. She seems like a very intelligent Khajiit, and Arisel has agreed to help her capture a Thalmor assassin to learn about their magic in order to create a ward around the building. Now to think of a plan to capture an elf...

Last night Arisel caught a Thalmor with the help of Sylvaswift and Bbigeargo. We brought the Thalmor, named Tilano Red, back to S'ren-ja where A Gata attempted to study the majicka he is using to open up portals around the village, terrorizing those who live here.

Little did we know that Tilano Red is no mer at all, he is infused with some sort of powerful daedra. A Gata was unable to truly understand his powers, and he mocked everyone there by repeatedly breaking his bindings. This one and Sylvaswift called out for a mage to bind him with majick, and the only one to step forward to try to help was the vampire Donvyn Sarethi. All of the others mage's spells failed against the Thalmor.

Just when it looked like Donvyn had the Thalmor bound, he created another portal and pulled this one through it. This one was so scared... but Sylvaswift and A Gata jumped in after this one to try to save her before the portal closed. The next thing we knew, we were in a daedric plane surrounded by apparitions of the dead. We wandered for what felt like hours trying to find a way out. Out of nowhere, this one was pulled back through another portal and fell in front of Ri'sari and several other members of the clan. Something about that portal drained this one though... she felt so weak when she fell that she could barely stand.

Ri'sari sounded the alarm for everyone to get into the Clan Mother's house, for fear of more portals being used to drag people into the daedric plane. It turns out that Donvyn had switched himself with Arisel, Sylvaswift and A Gata to bring us back.

This one downed a bottle of mead before going to sleep. She needs to figure out a way to keep the Thalmor back, and to figure out what exactly powered Tilano Red.

Much has been happening around S'ren-ja lately with the rebuilding and fortification of the village and working for more coin for the clan. This one and several others have used their own coin already to purchase goods and supplies for the town. There seems to be a lot of worry among the clan about the Thalmor threat, and other troubles that have popped up too. This one has also been watching Ri'sari closely. Since the death of Ja'Amore this one has noticed a change in him. He is not the same Khajiit he was before, and some in the clan like this new Ri'sari while others don't this one fears.

Speaking of... This one suspects half the clan knows already, so she might as well say it. She has laid with Ri'sari. This one was very nervous because she has never been with a man before, but it was... nice. This one need not go into details though!

While trying to study the power behind the Thalmor's portals, this one asked Ri'sari to accompany her to the far reaches of the Alik'r Desert, to the ruins of Volenfell. There was a strange power source there that this one wanted to look at to see if it could be used to negate the power behind the portals, but the journey turned quickly into an adventure when this one and Ri'sari discovered that the ruins were still very much alive.

Together we fought through the ruins until we reached the source this one needed to see, but it will not be of use against the Thalmor. For now this one has a great adventure story and will continue to try to find a way to keep the clan safe.

What an adventure! This one was asked by Qa'iit to lead a caravan all the way from S'ren-ja to the Baandari Tradepost in Malabal Tor. That is not an easy journey, and we could not cut across the desert since several of us were pulling wagons. There must have been 20 who volunteered to help this one make the trip.

We set out at the dead of night from S'ren-ja, and within several hours arrived in Rawl'kha. The sun was just beginning to peek over the horizon, giving the city a beautiful glow. Several in the caravan had never been to Rawl'kha before, so this one told them to rest and enjoy the city for a couple hours while she haggled with a merchant over trade goods for S'ren-ja. This one noticed several caravan members flirting with others while she was told others walked through the city to see what it had to offer. As far as this one knows there is no bounty on any of her caravaner's heads after this visit...

This one bought loads of stored food in barrels to be taken back to S'ren-ja. It was not a cheap buy, so this one used her own coin. She has plenty saved up anyway, it was no bother. Once the barrels were loaded, this one had to rally the troops to leave S'ren-ja. There is nothing quite like yelling, "Blue Skooma caravan meet at the west bridge to depart!" to grab the attention of other people in the city. When we left Rawl'kha we gained a few to our caravan, curious eyes this one supposes.

This one's caravan did not make it far before it was plagued with a menace.. a bandit this one guesses, who kept letting arrows loose at those on their horses. This one's horse even took an arrow to the flank, bucking her off. She sent a few of the mercenaries to track this hunter down, but they could not find him/her. All they came back with was saying they heard someone yelling something about being a fart.

This one and the caravan soon reached the second merchant, this one was at a wagon on the side of the road. She was a strange one that Khajiit. She tried selling this one first a rock, then a ring of hairiness, and finally a ring of infertility, telling this one IN FRONT OF THE ENTIRE CARAVAN that she could canoodle with anyone without fear of bearing a cub with that ring. This one nearly smacked that merchant, and she is not a violent Khajiit... but, the "fart" bandit helped this one by putting an arrow through the merchant's neck. After all the trouble she was to this one, the thought of letting the merchant die crossed her mind for a moment, but she couldn't do it and with the help of another healer named Drake, the merchant was saved before the caravan made the last leg of the trip to the Baandari Tradepost.

This one bought more supplies from a merchant at the tradepost while the rest of the caravan settled in. We will remain here for a few days before making the journey back to S'ren-ja.

Middas, 25. Rain's Hand 2E 583.

Arisel has been in the Baandari Tradepost for a couple of weeks now. The caravan returned a day before, with Atrabi to lead it back. This one asked to stay behind. She said she felt ill, but that was not the case. She heard a rumor that a powerful alchemist would be coming through soon and she wanted to see his wares. This one never knows when a lifesaving elixir would come in handy, or a poison for that matter...

The alchemist would not give this one his name, and he kept his face hidden from her and all others at all times. She could barely even make out his eyes, though she could tell that they were blood red. She did not trust the man, but recognized some of his elixirs as she looked them over. This one was glad the caravan was gone. She did not want company at this moment. This one ended up buying many different elixirs from this merchant, as well as several poisons. Who knows when those may need to be used..

This one stayed in Baandari for one more day after meeting with the alchemist. She had to pack the elixirs carefully in the saddlebags. The last thing she needed was one of those to break, costing her much gold. She would add these to her little collection once she returned to S'ren-ja. She had found an empty home towards the back of the village, found out an old Khajiit owned it but didn't even live there, so she bought it from him and used it to work. She still spent the majority of her time in the Clan Mother's house with the rest of the clan, but when she was bored or something was pressing her, she worked in her house creating elixirs and remedies, mostly.

The trip back to S'ren-ja took this one longer than she expected. Beau was injured on his way to the tradepost, so this one didn't want to push him too hard on the return trip. His flank bore a scar where the arrow pierced, but he wasn't babying his leg any and seemed to bear her weight without any problems. The only reason the trip took so long back was because of the unbearable heat in Reaper's March over this week. It caused this one and Beau to take it especially slow, stopping for water and shade more than this one wanted.

It took a while, but now this one is finally back in S'ren-ja. The poisons have been stored in a chest at the back of the house, hopefully never to be used, while the remedies and elixirs have been set on a shelf in case they are needed. This one hopes not any time soon. She doesn't have the ingredients to recreate some of these potions for a while.

This one is not sure of the day, so it is not written down in this entry.

Lots happened. Then this one left. Now she is back. It all started with Ainoath turning into a werewolf in S'ren-ja. He tried to attack someone, but was stopped and chained to a tree. Some wanted to see him put down, calling him a beast and a monster. This one as well as others knew better. There are already a number of werewolves and vampires living in the clan alongside everyone else with no issue, Ainoath was no different. He just needs to learn.

This one with the help of Kath and Gata took Ainoath to a nearby building to heal his wounds. He was given a ring at this point that turned him back into his normal self, so there was no worry of him attacking again. While healing him (his wounds were minor) Qa'iit and several others came into the building, demanding he be put down. This one and Kath already discussed a plan to get Ainoath out of S'ren-ja if this very scenario happened, so he gave this one an elixir to give to Ainoath, claiming it would help him. Instead the elixir made it appear as if Ainoath had perished from his wounds. To play it up this one tried feeling for a pulse, claiming she felt none. This one hated lying to Qa'iit.. she respects him greatly, but could not stand and watch him commit this act of violence.

Afterwards things moved so quickly it was a blur. Kath took Ainoath, claiming he was going to dispose of the body, but that he needed Arisel to help, so she followed. Instead we took Ain and fled S'ren-ja, taking him to an abandoned house far from the village. Here he was woken up and explained the situation. Kath had to return to S'ren-ja, and by now several others had arrived at the shack to protect Ainoath. Hours went by before Kath's return, saying the village bought the scheme to keep the werewolf alive.

The events of that night really bugged this one. She felt so helpless if Qa'iit and his men would have attacked Ainoath, so this one left S'ren-ja, traveling to Eastmarch to meet with an old friend under the dead of night, not telling anyone that she was leaving. It's been a few weeks now, and this one has just now returned to S'ren-ja. A few weeks isn't anywhere close to enough time, but it's a start.

It's about time this one knows how to properly wield a sword.

This one is concerned. Last night in her sleep, a bright being visited her dreams. It told her that a darkness was coming and that she needed to be prepared, because she is a beacon of light. What? This one does not know if she should speak to anyone about this for now, but she may have to leave S'ren-ja soon if the being was right.

Since returning, this one has also been practicing with a sword frequently. It is a lot of fun, but Arisel's true skill will always be saving lives, not taking them away. The armor is heavy and the shield wears this one's arm out, but it is getting easier. Perhaps this one can protect and save some day? Probably not, but it's a fun thought.

Apparently lots happened during this one's absence to Eastmarch. This one wishes she could have been here to help... but others have stepped up in the clan to help. This one hates being secretive, but she feels that she should for now in case she has to leave once more, but hopefully never for good.

This one is excited to see everyone again. She missed everyone greatly.

The dreams continue, but this one thinks she understands now. The darkness is those trying to hurt the clan, whereas Arisel can help to stop it. How does this one think that is it? Well... Ri'sari briefly woke from his coma last night when this one was checking on him. He grabbed Arisel's paw and told her that the clan needed a Mother, and that Arisel is to be that Mother. This one was shocked, but before she could ask any questions Ri'sari fell back into comatose leaving this one stunned.

This one had to gather her thoughts about Ri'sari's words and left the Clan Mother's house, finding a nice boulder to perch upon just outside of S'ren-ja. Arisel reflected upon her past actions in the clan and those who she has helped, ultimately finding herself agreeing with Ri'sari's decision and going back into the Clan Mother's to speak with those present. There was a small crowd gathered, including Guard Captain Hawke, whom this one wanted to speak with right away. This one made the announcement. Many were happy, which makes this one glad, and she told those present that all important matters are to be brought to Arisel for now. Captain Bethany said she wanted to speak with this one, Arisel should go to her office instead of writing this entry.

It has been many days, perhaps weeks since Arisel's last entry. Since becoming the Clanmother this one has just been too busy to sit down to write in this journal, but this one is placing a parchment within these pages. It was found on this one's nightstand this morning when she woke. Here is what it reads:

"Why so many Clan Ladies! Sandy stab first one, second one disappear, what happen to this one. Lucrezia convinced Clan Lady cursed to die… But he like this one."

It seems like Gnarlus' handwriting, this one will have to find out. There is an unfortunate curse of some sort upon those who are known as Clanmother around here, hopefully this one can keep her nine lives!

Another parchment was found, but this one was next to Ri'sari while he is still in a coma. This one found it when she went to check on him earlier. This parchment will also be placed within the folds of this journal, but this letter is angry, perhaps sinister. Here is what it reads:

"ANGRY CAT REASON FOR EVERYTHING! But Lucrezia forgive him… Lucrezia do something horrible… very horrible. But not able remember. So many things not remember… but it start with Angry Cat. Everything start with Angry Cat!"

Is Ri'sari again in danger? This one hopes not, but will keep a close eye on him just to be safe.
