Warm greetings. :)
I am the founder and guild master of Blue Skooma. I've been playing PC games for most of my life. I think I started when I was something like 6 playing Wolfenstein and Duke Nukem.
I have loved Khajiit since I first picked up an Elder Scrolls game. I waited in such anticipation for this game to release just so I could roleplay a Khajiit in a 3D true Elder Scrolls setting with other people. While the game isn't all I hoped it would be in other areas, I have to admit that I still /love/ roleplaying a cat. :)
When ESO came out, I joined the Power of the Black Paw guild, which is a group on Steam called Khajiit Lovers I have been part of since 2010. J'sarr (@kathis) was also a member of that guild. Being a photographer, he commented on my user name which sparked a camera nerd chat. I grew frustrated in the lack of RP in the game during that first week and decided to make the Blue Skooma guild with my new friend J'sarr. The guild was originally intended to be a light RP guild with a focus on PvE. That changed very fast with the amount of people looking for other roleplayers. My idea for a niche RP scene with only Khajiit fell apart pretty fast as so many awesome roleplayers started to develop their own stories.
Since those first few weeks I have worked very hard to ensure that we are an environment as free from drama as possible, that does not dictate how you play your character, and has meaningful RP that does not get boring.
As far as me as a person, I love people and chatting but it does drain me. Sometimes people think I am reclusive for a guild leader, but I am just recharging. I have a lot of opinions on good leadership from my experiences as a director in real life that I try to carry over to ESO. I am an organized and obsessive person.
I frequent Reddit and know a lot of Internet memes. I've played more MMO's than anyone wants to read a list of. I'm a furry and love emoticons. I have no patience for condescending or aggressive attitudes. Working in entertainment, this has lead to a lot of stress in my life as you could imagine. I still don't put up with it from anyone and especially not in a game where everyone is trying to have fun.
Finally, I wrote this from my bath tub with a mobile phone without hitting backspace other than to correct spelling. Woke up with the shits at 5AM. I might post again later. : D
