Thank you for your reply.

I am a Senior Officer of Blue Skooma Co - We hold these Auctions LIVE weekly as a community event. http://www.reddit.com/r/elderscrollsonline/comments/2aiu7a/weekly_auction_tonight/

We are continually grieved by anti-RP players and just general other annoyances. It TOTALLY spoiled the fun of approx 100 players. Having the area spammed caused disconnection and countless other problems.

We are formally requesting a GM to be present each Saturday to bring down the hammer.

Our guild is a premium guild of 350ish members currently after just doing a purge of our member list. We were founded at early-access and are very popular and active in the community.

We hope you can help us help your game,

We are going to change location this week and see if the disconnections was a town issue - Rawl'Kha in Reapers March, usually it is Marbruk but our Guild is situated now in Reapers March (story-line reasons) and we wish to remain on this map.

Check us out @ http://www.blueskooma.com/home even join as a member to be up on latest activities.

Yours faithfully
@Tryynity aka Sylvaswift :D

Greetings M*****!

First off, I just want to say that it sounds so awesome that your guild is holding live auctions so other players from various other guilds could have a chance to purchase some cool things! It must certainly take a lot of work and effort to put together a large scale auction such as the one you're doing and we love the idea of it! I want to thank you so much for working so hard to put together such an incredible event such as a live auction so that other players can have fun bidding on various items.

I totally understand how frustrating it must be having other players come by, interrupting you actions by constantly spamming the chat, completely throwing off the flow of the auction. I personally agree with you, thinking that it is awesome trying to host a huge event like this, but it is annoying that nobody can see what you're even trying to auction off because spammers keep clogging up the chat. We'll definitely investigate the spamming going on during your auctions, but as much as I would love to, I cannot guarantee any promises that we'll be able to put an end to them.

To add onto your excitement of live auctions going on, we're a similar guild kiosk system in our next big patch (1.3.0), allowing players from guilds to purchase goods from other guilds. You can check out our PTS patch notes on 1.3.0 in order to see what's coming in the near future and below is a small taste about the upcoming guild kiosks:

Guild Traders

-Guilds can now hire merchants from The Gold Coast Trading Company in locations across Tamriel to serve as public outlets for their guild stores.

-Guilds will participate in a blind bid that lasts one week to win the traders' services for one full week. You can only bid on one trader at a time, and the highest bidder will be the winner.

-Guilds can also hire a trader for a flat fee, as long as the trader is currently un-hired.
-You can hire the trader during a bidding cycle, though you'd only be hiring him for the remaining time that's left on the bidding cycle.
-This hire lasts up to a week, until the end of the current bidding cycle, and is first come first served.

-A hired trader will display the guild store of the hiring guild to all channels, including Veteran versions of the zone

-Guild traders can mainly be found in zone capitals, though a few can be seen selling wares throughout various overworld zones.

Even though it's not quite the same as a big-scale live auction like your guild is hosting and probably not as awesome, it's certainly a way for your wares to be sold to other guilds without having to deal with spammers interrupting the fun.

Don't worry as we'll definitely look into this issue and wish best of luck to you and you future live auctions! Keep up the awesome work, selling those wonderful wares all across Tamriel!

Be sure to check out the PTS 1.3.0 patch notes for more fun guild updates: http://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/discussion/118546/pts-patch-notes-v1-3-0

Thank you for your continued interest and support!

Game On,
Matthew

Hello and Thank you for your speedy reply,

Does this mean you are still looking into providing a GM for us on these days?

We will of course still be bidding for stores, but as an RP Guild we will most likely continue with the Auctions unless of course the market demand for this drops due to the stores.

Many thanks, for your consideration of these concerns, here's hoping your reply is favourable.

It is such a shame that people have to be jerks where this is even needed :( makes me sad.

Kind Regards,
Tryynity

The main issue is not chat spammers. It is the things you can't ignore. Mainly making people crash with ability spams and people blocking The Auctioneer with their character so bidders can't trade with her for their items.

May also want to tell them that it's on Saturdays at 10PM EST

Hey M,

I am sorry to inform you that at this time we will not be able to send a GM to this events.

I will be looking into this issue more and will take actions if they are needed. Please note I will not be able to inform you of what actions are taken or not.

In the time I would suggest changing the venue of your events and see if the player follows you. If the player is to cause any more troubles please let us know :)

Thank you for your continued interest and support!

Warm Regards,
Mark
