Name: Wraithe the Shade. Or just Wraithe.
Age: 38
Race: Argonian
Flair: He keeps himself and his clothing clean, very much lacking the dust and dirt that many others would accumulate in travels like his. Small scars are scattered across his body, though they are at times difficult to see against the shine of dark scales and the red paint he prefers to decorate his face with. Well hidden under his armor, right over his chest is a hand print mark, done in the same crimson color as his warpaint. He does his best to keep it covered and refuses to speak of it if asked about it.
Rumors: Hardly any would have heard of Wraithe. He works within the shadows most times and stays mostly on his best behavior in public. He doesn't socialize much with others and moves place to place often, before hardly anyone even gets to learn of his presence. He's not likely to give away anything about his past, especially about the Brotherhood, fearful that any information would endanger any of the ones that might possibly still remain.
Background: Hatched under the sign of the Shadow, Wraithe spent very few years in the Black Marsh. He was introduced to his training as an assassin as early as possible and he took to it well, spending much of his time honing his skills as he could. It was cut short when his small village was raided. He managed to escape, but the others were not so lucky. Many were either killed or sold into the slave trade. Terrified and alone, the fledgling Shadowscale struck out on his own, taking odd jobs along the way and doing his best to survive.
His struggle to live found him delving deeper into a life of crime, from simple theft to assault and murder. His actions did not stay unnoticed by many, and especially not by the hidden Dark Brotherhood Sanctuary on the outskirts of a small mining town. Adopting him into their fold and taking him under their wings, they helped him to complete the training he'd been unable to finish in the Marsh. They taught the young Argonian to have control over himself and his actions and he soon grew to be one of their most effective assassins.
He found companionship in another Shadowscale there, Ree-sha, her story not unlike his and the two quickly became inseparable. They were often sent out to work together, their connection creating a bond between the two that seemed almost unstoppable. They were pleased to find he excelled with his contracts and he quickly gained respect and rank within the group within a few short years. But like most good things in Wraithe's life, this too would end.
He returned from fulfilling a contract to find the Sanctuary in ruin, fallen to blade and blaze like so many of the others had. The group had been discovered, given away by a mistake made by one of the younger, inexperienced assassins. Wraithe found his beloved Ree-sha's broken body under the rubble, hand clutched around the dagger he'd given her only a few months before as a gift. He left that night, but not until after burying his fallen family.
With another home and family lost to him, he fled to the west. With fewer and fewer signs of the Brotherhood's very existence, his work has dried up. More than ever now, he finds himself wandering looking for new things to fill his time and his pockets with coin.
(I'll add more here when I get it. I'd like to find some music to go along with him, maybe even find a voice actor that I think suits him well. With the possible future addition of the Dark Brotherhood to ESO, that may change parts of his story as well.)
