Name: Oric Elsinar
Age: 27
Race:Halfbreed - Altmer/Nord
Flair: Body scars, lightning bolt scar on back, slight blue glow in eyes (Hardly noticeable)

Rumors: Tales of a skilled thief, and swordsman. Known half-breed raised in the Northern snows of Skyrim. Possible magical abilities.

Background: Oric resulted from the bonding of a Nord hunter and a High Elf bard in the far reaches of Riften. His mother was quite the stranger. She sauntered into town the night after a full moon with nothing but a pack and a lute. She sang and danced at The Withered Tree Tavern and caught the eye of Bollir The Hunter, Oric's father. "Lylia Elsinar" she said her name was. Their relationship grew as did Lylia's coin purse. After a time infatuation became a companionship and before long became love. They joined together under the stars and pledged themselves to each other until death.

Winter turned to spring, then to summer. Fall had arrived as swiftly as Oric had. He was a happy child and full of an adventurous spirit. As he grew his father taught him the hunt, the thrill of the kill, and to respect the wilds. Oric's mother on the other hand taught him music, how to read and write, and how to defend himself with a blade...or two.

As a young boy Oric loved to explore. His curiosity about the wilds and a walk into them led to a unforgettable encounter. Oric walked slowly as he came upon a clearing he never discovered before. In the center stood, no, floated a being made of crackling light. It was female in form and turned to him as he gasped. It's gaze was bright and blue as it bore into him, but not out of malice, but kindness. It hovered over to him and smiled before placing a hand on his shoulder and whispered to him. The words were alien to him, but he felt as if he understood. The creature glowed so brightly that Oric had to shield his eyes before the light finally faded.

His eyes opened and the creature was gone, but not entirely. He could hear her in his mind. His father found him lying in the grove. Oric's tunic was burned at the back, but no flesh had been damaged at all. His father helped him up and noticed a blue tint to his gaze. Nor his father, or any healer could understand what transpired that day, and all that was left of the encounter for Oric was a scar on his back, and the voice in his mind.

On a moon lit night, a full one at that, his mother vanished. His father bid him to stay inside their cabin as he searched for her, sword in hand. Oric could hear the cries of his father and the howling of wolves. They did not frighten him, but rather soothed him somehow. His father returned with blood on his clothing and tears streaming down his cheeks. Clearly he had run into an animal as his clothes were torn in places. "Where's Mommy?" was the last words said that night as Bollir held his son.

Years later Oric had grown into a man. He had lost his father on the hunt years ago. Bollir, bleeding out from wounds he received from the biggest Saber Cat Oric had ever seen, faded away in his sons arms after uttering only one word. "Hircine".

Oric left his home shortly thereafter. He traveled across Tamriel in search of purpose. He hunted wild game for villages, sold his talents to a few mercenary groups, stole from the wealthy, and even preformed stunts in a traveling show. Then came the day that Molag Bol descended upon the land and Oric's life was changed forever.
