Name: Finist Gilthanis
Age: 416 years old
Race: Altmer
Flair: Finist is tall, even tall for Altmer standards. Often found in a long dark cloak, Finist wears a pair of long swords at his waist and simple black armour. A rare talent, Finist have mastered the arts of both lightening and duel wielding swords. A large demon skull is strapped to his left shoulder, now used as armor, once the head of an enemy. A human skull hangs from his belt.
Rumors: Gilthanis was in an adventuring group of great renown at one time, now nearly forgotten. All that remains are rumors, rumors of a devastating battle between rival adventurers for a mighty prize, a prize that went to our hero’s adversaries. Finist and his friends were defeated, some killed, some vanquished, others lost to wander and rebuild. That is where we find Finist today, a wanderer with a singular mission. A mission that will raze mountains and bury cities, if Finist Gilthanis is able to become whole again.
Background: As a young man Finist was an arrogant hotshot who excelled initially with magic and was highly sought after for apprenticeship. Under the tutelage of High Mage Levi, Finist flourished. As he grew out of adolescence, he became physically gifted as well and began training initially with long sword, then eventual with a pair of long swords, a talent possible due to his long limbs and newly found height. He set out to adventure a 100 years ago as a consummate badass.
Much has happened in the last one hundred years, including a dangerous spell that changed his life. While the binding spell may be the most important aspect to Finist of him to his story, the breadth of the story cannot be contained within this brief.

3. Who are/were your parents? (Know their names, occupations, personalities, etc.)
Calarben and Gathrodis Githanis of high born status. They own a comfortable castle on Summerset Isle.
4. Do you have any siblings? What are/were they like?
Only child
5. Where do you live now, and with whom? Describe the place and the person/people.
Finist is a wanderer.
6. What is your occupation?
For all outward appearances, a dangerous mercenary, but he is bidding his time, researching rare magic tomes for answers.
7. Write a full physical description of yourself. You might want to consider factors such as: height, weight, race, hair and eye color, style of dress, and any tattoos, scars, or distinguishing marks.
Standing 6’ 9” with a dark cloak and dark armor, Finist is striking. He has grey eyes and shoulder length black hair. Skulls of various enemies grace is armor, with the left shoulder a skull of one of his arch enemies.
8. To which social class do you belong?
As a youth, high class, as the Gilthanis is an old name. Now is a different story; he hasn’t been to the Isle for a hundred years.
9. Do you have any allergies, diseases, or other physical weaknesses?
The banishment and subsequent journey back to this plane of existence has left his mind originally shattered and it took years for his mind to heal, at least heal to the functioning form that is its current existence. He has mood swings, of sorts.
10. Are you right- or left-handed?
Both.
11. What does your voice sound like?
Finist is an articulate, educated Altmer. While once he had an aristocratic clip to his speech, he has spent many years with other races and has picked up a vocabulary that is relaxed.
12. What words and/or phrases do you use very frequently?
His battle cry is “Thryme!”
13. What do you have in your pockets?
Scrolls and skulls
14. Do you have any quirks, strange annerisms, annoying habits, or other defining characteristics?
Sometimes he cracks, becoming extremely violent, forgetting where he is. He will fight invisible foes, cutting down all around him. Only after the craze passes does he realize what he’s done. These bouts are few and far between though, much less frequent then even a decade ago.
