Guild Awards

Many of you have noticed the new forum titles which users can now set on themselves here: http://www.blueskooma.com/awards

I would like to expand upon our guild reward system to show appreciation to members and officers that make us the awesome guild that we are. In my experience, this improves everyone's attitude, motivates some people to help out in ways they otherwise wouldn't, and invests members in the guild a bit more. Who does not like feeling appreciated? :)

The goal is to show these awards on the website roster, forum posts, and on Teamspeak. I believe each department should be in charge of issuing certain rewards. I have already built the system in to the roster and forums as you can see under my user name in this post.

What I need:

Please post your ideas for rewards that each department can issue.

we have a lot of people who keep journals, thus chronicling the guild happenings .... but am not sure what to call an award for that off hand since the chronicling department has the name "chronicler" pretty much in its name, and "historian" just seems boring to me.

I'd like to see an award for full members (not officers) who run an event.

Agreed on the guild event thing.

Thinking a scribe award called "Journalist"
can be awarded to those that make good write ups of what is happening in the storyline often.

"Wordsmith" would also be a good one for Journalists

As a journalist, I like this :)

I can't really think of anything else that people would get in terms of "Diplomacy" considering no one really deals with other guilds, and there really aren't many disputes within the guild that need settling (thankfully). They don't have to look through applications either.

Only thing I could think of that the average members would be able to get that deals with diplomacy is promoting the guild and recruitment

now seriously, I agree with Elridge that FOR NOW there is not much dealing with other guilds. BUT there is!
like one or two guilds but, there is.

But I'd like to see some sort of recruitment award, but have no idea what it could be called. Or if it is a good idea.

Maybe something out of the ordinary like kidnapper or slaver.
