Having accomplished beginning a relief effort to those outside the the Hallow City, Qa'han Sandscales, also known to many as Rune-Tail, has announced that he is returning to Tamerial after spending sometime in Coldharbour. He has invited his friends from the The Broken Bottle, as well his rivals from The Sugar-Claw Clan out for a day of fishing in Cyrodiil.
Who: Qa'han Sandscales, better known to everyone has Rune-Tail
What: A Fishing Trip
When: Thursday, July 24, Starting at 8:00pm EST and going until 12:00pm. People can join and leave freely.
Where: Cyrodiil, (Server: Celeras, the 14 Day Server. Proven to be Dominion Dominated)
Why: Because Fishing is relaxing and soothes tension.
Qa'han will provide everyone attending with 20 of each Worms, Crawlers, Insect Parts and Guts to those who show up on time, (While supplies last), but he recommends everyone to bring some extra bait.
Out of Character
This event is to make something boring and monotonous as fishing and turn it into an actual Role Play Event. The setting is going to be a more traditional "Tavern Roleplay" so no Thalmor (If the Thalmor worry about fishing trips, I would think we have bigger things to worry about)
Admittedly, the ultimate goal is to get some people the Cyrodiil Angler Achievement before the servers combine, or get a good start on it. Additionally, completing the achievement will award you with a Dye when they are released (Niberany Trout Green).
Here's a map of the layout of Cyrodiil, locations and fishing spots tested by me personally for the best bait in what area. While I know spots aren't exclusively a set type of fish, the spots around the Imperial City are weird as they seem to be an even spread of Ocean and Foul Waters.
Lore wise, the Ocean area down near the Dominion Gates is a lake, but SHUT IT, its an Ocean in this game apparently. Some of the Larger Lakes may also be classified as Ocean, I didn't test all the waters.
Unfortunaly, you do have to be level 10 to attend. Once in Cyrodiil, your stats will be boosted to the equivalent of a VR5, but I still recommend you stick with a group.
