Player-run festivals invitation by @Showlorian

He is trying to organize multiple guild participation, the first festival being after Update 3 to celebrate the release of all that new content (tabards, dyes, guild vendors, etc.).

I would like to see us participate in this event, perhaps even running a scripted RP so that people can see how much fun our guild can be.

However, I have one concern; the festival is going to occur on a Saturday when we usually have our auctions. I already understand how complex running the auctions is. If we can manage to not clash with any other participating guild's events (gods forbid another auction) occurring at the same time in the same locale, then this could be very good for business.

Hey guys, so I am planning to hold a player-run festival to celebrate the AMAZING developers of ESO. The festival will consist of Events, Competitions, an Auction, and more. Everyone who has a character in the Aldmeri Dominion will be invited to come to this festival to socialize, sell/buy goods, and participate in competitions that will have great prizes. I am planning this party to happen a week or so after Update 3 goes live. I am currently talking with other guilds within AD to make this thing organized and awesome. Also as you can imagine this party will require lots of work so if anyone is interested in helping please PM me, any little bit helps. Bellow are some very helpful things that would really push this festival into gear.

-Talk with another guild you might be in, and seeing if you can get them involved in the party. (if the guild leader does seem interested in helping please PM me his user ID and I will contact him).

-Crafting! If you are a high ranking craftsmen and are willing to help than it would be very appreciated. (Weapons and clothing would be very helpful for prizes and provisions would be EXTREMELY helpful for giving out as consolations or just to people who participate).

-Advertising. (We will not begin advertising until we have a more definite date but if you think you would like to help with this than please PM me, when a date is made I will send you the message to post in chat).

-Donations. This is something that is extremely needed as we will be trying to gather prizes for the events and competitions. If you can donate anything at all it would be very appreciated. (donations can be anything from gold (as that will be a prize) to extra high-end gear or motifs).

-Farming. As I have stated multiple times we will need prizes, if you could farm high-end gear, motifs, or really anything it would be very helpful. (We will probably hold some farming groups in different areas where all the loot is put toward the festival, if you would be interested in doing this than PM me the more the merrier).

-Crowd Control! If you would like to help during the actual festival in leading groups and keeping it organized than please PM me. (Oh and you are an amazing person if you chose to help lol)

If you can help with one of these even for only a few hours it would be very helpful and all who do will be properly recognized for it. If you can't do any of the above but still want to help than feel free to PM me and we will try to work something out.

If you have any questions please PM me, I will be posting updates on where we are in the project (like events, dates, guilds that will help, ect..) on this forum so keep your eyes open for them.

No Ri'sari. we don't have a time or date set just yet. And from what I saw of the website, we might be the first guild to give this guy a probable 'yes'.

Talked with them more tonight and we're going. Yay! We'll be holding the auction as usual, but there will be all kinds of other stuff going on. I told them we could do it outside of Marbruk. They wanted Auridon but I said that might be a bad idea because Auridon is often instanced.
