Flair: typically black with shades of a cheetah tear on her face and spots, longer than normal front fangs.
Rumors: Spy in the guise of a Khajiit, civilized bloodfiend, Elfish accent, unsympathetic toward men, domineering toward women.
Background (OOC) :
Early Age
Her’fi was orphaned at a young age, left as a servant girl to an Altrmer noble where she worked as a maid and house worker. Strict rules about proper manners and etiquette meant a lot of discipline early in life, suppressing much of her native Khajiit accent and phrasing. Even her name was changed to “Herfi”. Her surname given later as a bit of a joke between her constant mispronunciation of “Spider” and the noble’s nick name of “kitty”. Despite the joke of it, it was something her lady gave her, so like most she held onto it like most other things she could get a hold of.
She spent most of her childhood and teenage years acting as a maid and odd worker around the estate. Most of the other workers were women, most men that were given positions either couldn’t stand the shrewd nature of the Altrmer noble or were highwaymen and robbers. Being the strongest and most capable she found her duties included dispatching the occasional skeever or wild animal should the occasion arise.
Middle Age
In her 30s, she met with a life change as her lady did as well. Her Lady, returning back from a party of debauchery left her weak and sick. Herfi nursed back to health from what seemed to be a terrible influenza. Unknowingly to Herfi and the estate their Lady was inflicted with vampirism by vampires that took advantage of drunken party goers. The Altrmer noble’s strength grew as she feed and enthralled her servants as they slept, turning the house into a den for undead and thralls.
Herfi eventually succumbed to the same curse as her mistress, still loyal and picking up. Her job seemed not to change much either, still responsible for cleaning up messes like the servants that didn’t turn or the ones too blood crazed to stay in the main house to some nearby Aylied ruins. When not serving her Lady she watched over the ruins to make sure none escaped.
The change in the estate was subtle, but after a year or so vampire hunters caught on. When they came to investigate, just the hint of dead bodies and decay in the air was enough for them to take action. They boarded up the exits to the main house and set it ablaze, killing everyone inside. Herfi, having spent that day in the ruins, returned to find the charred remains of the Mansion with no sign of life or unlife inside. Seeing none left and fearing the hunters return she Left her home, off to explore the world.
Recent Years
Since then she has been traveling around the province, most times staying in crypts and caves, few times entering into towns with a cloak drawn. Her feeding has been left mainly to the novice bandit or the careless traveler, some living, some dying. Since the war started however, she has been seen in towns and cities more often, building up coin and being more open with her appearance and tongue, which has nearly gotten her in trouble a few times. Still, a war needs fighters and healers, and she’s skilled enough to be useful and for most dominion officers to turn the other way.
Future ambitions (OOC): Though her prior life is gone, she still has a desire to rebuild an estate and a coven of her own. The current turmoil has given her the perfect opportunity to build her wealth as well as her influence others in the Dominion.
