ESO @Warlord_Killboss
Name: Megul Arkuldas
Age: 347
Race: Altmer
Flair: Standing as a golden giant amongst the other races of Tamriel, yet, amongst his own people Megul is considered to reach only a modest height. Megul's hair is wild, unkempt, and often times has the mer been mistaken for a homeless man; it certainly doesn't help that his beard is a massively dominating feature of his face. The mer is wide-eyed and tattooed in various golden markings across his visage and upper body; regardless of his features the Altmer holds himself as a proud example of a pure-blood Altmer of Alinor.
Rumors: As far as Elven supremacists go, Megul makes no attempt to disguise his distrust for many of Tamriel's races, often times engaging in long drawn out debates and other such nonsense.
As a long-lived Altmer, Megul has seen many things and has had many different walks of life; all in all the mer is known for adventuring across much of Tamriel with a few good band of adventurers known as the Manly Men.
Megul is known to consume Skooma.
Background: Born to an impoverished merchant family in the sprawling port city of Alinor on Middas, 21 Second Seed, 2E 236; Megul had known nothing but the glory of the Altmeri culture for his first 60 years. His time spent as a young mer in Alinor left him with a strong sense of a national identity, imparting with him the finesse of Altmeri etiquette, and the enlightening knowledge of the Auri-El Faith.
Having inherited his Father's estate at the age of 36, Megul had managed to navigate the trials of a complex economy. Megul had transformed what had once been an insignificant shipping industry into a fairly prosperous endeavor. Fate would have it's course when he had reached the age of 53, having become introduced to one of his long time passions. Skooma. Needless to say, Megul had scarcely managed to avoid the total collapse of his family's entire business, leaving behind only a meager holding. Rather than be defeated by such a setback, Megul was ambitious, the Altmer never stated what had become of his last estate in Alinor before striking off for what he knew would surely be greater things in the year 2E 296.
Megul spent the next 8 decades traveling the Summerset Isles, learning the wonders and beauties that his people's Kingdom had to offer. During this time the High Elf had tried his hand at many different professions; no single profession would seem to ever suit the mer's tastes for long, inevitably sooner or later he would grow restless and move on. Throughout this time Megul had tested his hands at magic, as he would later state that any true, self-respecting Altmer have crafted at least one unique spell of their own.
It was in the year 2E 447 at the age of 211 that Megul had first met with what would be come a long time friend and fellow adventurer, Tarthain, within the homeland of the Bosmer. High within the wild frontier which straddles Elsweyr, Megul had been living comfortably in isolation as a moonshine distiller, one evening the Altmer had been assaulted on his way home by the Bosmer, Megul dispatched the assailant and left him for dead. For 4 days the Bosmer was left unattended, each day as Megul returned from his field did he witness Tarthain's suffering; on the 4th day Megul had decided to show mercy and restore the Wood Elf via restoration magic, provided that the Bosmer agree to eat his meals with the proper Altmeri etiquette from that day on. Following that day the two had formed the Manly Men; for each were both adventurers at their core.
For the next 136 years Megul had spent his time with the Manly Men roaming across the whole of Tamriel adventuring alongside the Manly Men; at some point therein proclaiming he was the finest fencer to ever walk, of course, these claims are likely just the boasts of a homeless skooma addict. In this time Megul had tasted the wealth beyond his wildest dreams only to flaunt it and lose it countless times; all of this has proven him to be light hearted individual as far as his rooted Altmeri culture is concerned. Megul returned to the Summerset Isles in the year 2E 580 following the death of the High King Hidellith; in the wake of which Megul had been witness to the expansion of Hidellith's former Dominion into what he considers the most genius and fabulous idea conceived in modern times - the Aldmeri Dominion. And so at the onset of the Three Banners War; the mer armed with his skooma, wits, and unquenchable thirst for adventure, left his home in Alinor and rejoined with the Manly Men to tread the jeweled thrones of Tamriel.
