Flair: Japhir is a large, poweful Khajiit, but besides this he has few extraordinary features. His face and arms are marked with several small scars, and one large, jagged scar on his left forearm.
Rumors: The only rumors that may precede Japhir are those concerning his skill as a bounty hunter.
Background: Japhir was born into the tribal life of Northern Elsweyr. Always a simple Khajiit, he enjoyed socializing with the close-knit community of his small tribe, sharing meals and stories. He would help the people of his tribe with whatever tasks they needed, but primarily put himself to physical labor, building him strong. Japhir believes in strength, and began training as a warrior early in his youth.
Nearing the end of his youth Japhir began fighting alongside the warriors of his tribe, aiding his people in the tribal conflicts they were involved in. He proved himself a capable warrior, and in time it became clear that Japhir was the greatest fighter of his small tribe. However, a few years into Jahpir's adulthood his people had fallen on hard times, with one final disaster nearly destroying the tribe.
His people were unable to recover from the blow, and his tribe fell apart. All those remaining joinied with other tribes or set off on their own. Japhir grieved at the fall of his tribe, but he had learned much from it, including what he truely desired to do. He became a bounty hunter, ranging across Elsweyr in pursuit of contracts. Over several years his travels would eventually bring him to the cities of the south, and across the sea to other lands.
