ESO Player Run Festival

Hey that's me on the white pony :3 This sounds fun!

someone in the teamspeak earlier gave me the idea of hosting or finding someone to host a small "Arena Tournament" there, based on the dice rolls on http://rolz.org/group with small bets just for fun, like a max bet of 100-300 gold

What a fun idea, I can't wait :)

*The Festival*
Hello again everyone! Just another fine weekly update for the upcoming Elder Scrolls Online player run festival. Still no specific date set, other then shortly after Update 3 goes lives, hopefully Zenimax gives us a date for the update soon. Just a reminder, due to the alliance system, you will need a character in the Aldmeri Dominion to join in the festival, however it doesn't matter what level, we will have plenty of players to teleport to if you need it.


*Guilds*
After speaking more with an officer of Old Timers Guild, I would like to officially welcome them to the Elder Scrolls Online Festival team. They have agreed to have their own event for added fun in the city of Marbruk. Our team is growing! If you want to join, just send a mail to @Showlorian or @Elridge

*Events*
The newest event will be "Fashion and Frill at the Steel, Will and Skill" a fashion show, showing off different armors and armor combinations near the crafting area "Steel, Will, and Skill" in the upper area of Marbruk.

yea just learned that when I had posted to Jason, waiting on Showlorian to log in, to decide a date

I will be directing auditions on the 16th and not be able to make it to do the auction that day.

hmm I'll have to talk to showlorian then and see what we can do about possibly holding it on the 23rd instead, that way we can have the auction included

he agreed that the 23rd would work better then, plus it gives us more time to prepare. Is that better for you Ri'sari?

I am going to be very busy on most days this month unfortunately, so just keep the date. I will find someone else to run the auction on my account. :)

*The Festival*

*Events*
A new event has been added to the roster, a Naked Run through Cyrodiil. This will be the final piece of the festival. We will announce which campaign we will be doing this further down the week. Make sure to keep that guest campaign open for Saturday!

*Guilds*
No new guilds this week have been added to the list of Sponsors, however we are still talking to a few of them!

Ummm. So if I can get the everything together, it looks like the Incompentant Argonain maid may me played there... A little pressure for my "Test run" lol...

That is scary and exciting at the same time! lol

the whole event is for the most part a test run, so go ahead and test anything and everything. If things go well, I'm hoping to do another one in the winter

((OOC)) We should have a group of a few people centrally located, playing as a band. Drums, lute, pipes, have musicians take turns singing "Poetry". I would be willing to help with that. It would be nice to have at least 4 or 5 people though. It will just create another thing for people to gather around and facilitate conversation and fun.

the only problem, and they really need to do something about it, is you can't sync music or choose what song to play, so multiple musicians playing sounds kinda weird

@Valyrian yea haha, they have told us they will help promote, not sure how many are actually coming themselves. They did say they might do an event at the next festival though :)

And it has just come to my attention that I will not be able to attend this amazing event in any way, shape, or form. This weekend is my tabletop gaming event that my friends and I have done every two weeks for some time now.

I still wish you all the most amount of enjoyment and the least amount of trolls possible during the festival.

It is the eve of the festival, and I must say I think I may be more calm today then I have been the past 2 weeks. Everything seems to be going smoothly and put into place. If any of the listed events interest you, check out their location and times on the map in the original post.

If you wish to enter the Fashion Show/Contest all you have to do is be near the crafting station Steel, Will, and Skill in Marbruk Greenshade, on the upper level @5pm EST. @Marvinb is the event coordinator of Old Timers Guild, and he will be running this event, with prizes donated by OTG.

If anyone wants a costume done for the event, there are many player run markets to choose from in our forums, where you can find nearly anything you want.

Just wanted to say thank you everyone for the wonderful festival! Especially the actors of the play, you did an amazing job with it. I hope for the next festival everyone can get together and do that again!
