Kade walked along the Stoney Path whilst on Patrol on the outskirks of Sa'ren Ja. He found a rock and sat down on it taking a short break and removed a leather bound Journal from his satchel. Fairly plain in appearance aside from a simple numerical code lock that kept it sealed. Inside were many entries from previous jobs. Each one written in a strange gibberish to the Untrained eye.

Day One

First day working here within the Blue Skooma Clan. Unusual to say the least. Introductions went around with a few people. Qa'iit and Sylva seem to be the Favoured here though they have more tension between them than a Horse and a heavy laden Cart going uphill. So far it seems good, enjoyable and relatively quiet. I have already picked up on a few things in this place I don't wholly agree on, like the harbouring of Vampires but the only one I've seen seems like a..calm individual. Not sure what to think. Will keep watch.

Day Two

Today served as an interesting lesson, I met up with Qa'iit once more as we were put to working on repairing the Barracks. Good place, might work on it during the night when I don't sleep. Floor Boards could use replacement... Anyway, I find myself continuing to be employed here so I have made an excellent impression at least. I was sent to a local caravan to pick up supplies and scout it out, run by Harathi. Fascinating Khajiit if not on the...mountainous side. The others came down after a bit thinking I'd been gone for to long. Fair enough I say, made for an entertaining time. Earned some points with the CO.

A few thoughts on people here though, I find the leader Qa'iit an interesting one. Large and commanding but I see in the eyes something more. Like being around them to, makes for interesting times. Might see where this leads.

Day Three

Lightning arced across the sky violently that night. Like fingrs of pure electricity trying to grab an unseen object. Or the wrath of Kenarthi herself smiting down those that have wronged her. A beautiful sight for many to see, it was a heat storm something he was used to from the humidity of the Tenmar during summer. Kade was inside the Barrack that still needed repair, early in the night still so some were awake from his understanding at the Inn. A small candle cast a dim.light in the room that for a khajiit was perfect conditions to see in an albeit slightly muted colour spectrum. He cracked open his Journal, turning the combination lock this way and that of randomly written numbers.

He dipped the fountain pen into the ink well to fill the small reservoir and began to write.

Patrol around South East Road towards the Harathi camp turned up a few vultures and the occasional bandit. Otherwise it is clear.
Patrol up Northern Road just past the bridge turned a few senche. Nothing else.

Today I encountered whilst on a small rest stop at the outside of the Inn Sylva, Kath, a Dunmer I do not recognize and Dar'Atrabi having a conversation. Unintentional eaves dropping at best. Seems there's a plot against Qa'iit in effect. I dislike this sort of backstabbery. Though I am wary at reporting it. My honor compels me to, whilst a sense of safety does tells me not to. That its not my issue. Of course I will follow what honor dictates. Just in case I will be acquiring a new Journal to record things in if things get hairy. Perhaps some Magic ink that responds to something. On top of my normal cipher

Personal Entry: Right now I cannot sleep. To much energy inside so I need to work it off. Going to work on repairing the roof of the Barracks. Replace the Tiles and a few of the cross support beams sport signs of rot. Got no issue with it, keeps me occupied and allows me to think. For I spoke to Ma'Zura the Suthay Calico coloured consort. About some... Feelings I've needed to work out. Hopefully I can find an oppurtunity to work them out. Its been good so far, life here is simple enough with basic requests and everyone putting in. I have yet to encounter any real problems within the clan. Aside from a Vampire and a Werewolf. Both open about it. Not sure how to feel. Either way I will set myself up to do the very best I can and no less. Any failure I will make reparations for. My Resin is starting to boil and food is nearly ready. Will add supplemental in later.

Kade huffed as he settled down naked on a rock in the wee hours of the morning by a water hole, he was wet and had just finished cleaning. Next to him was the corpse of a Caiman Crocodile who had made the mistake to try and make him dinner. Didn't work well in the end for the poor sod with a flaming spike through the brain. Course Kade came out of it with a new set of tooth punctures along his arm, thankfully shallow and treatable. Drying his hands he collected his Journal and the fountain Pen he'd been writing with. Fancy stationery that cost a pretty sum from High Elven traders.

Day Four

Patrol along Northern Road: Clear of obstructions, Four vultures flying overhead.
Patrol along Southern Road: Clear, one drunk found near Harath's Camp.

Personal Notes: Today went well for the most part, nice and quiet which I like. Until later when Ainoath the Necromancer stumbled in bleeding at the neck. Thorthil and a few others tended to him after Thorthil and I carried him upstairs. Turned out he was attacked by a vampire and turned. I've left a note for Qa'iit informing of this development and wishing to meet him at some point. Wouldn't mind it. Might be a Vampire hunt soon, I think a few people suspect Dolvyn the vampire did it. Doubt it. Then again it could be anything.

Came for a bath away from the Town and Mr. Boots here decided that it'd make me a meal. To bad, going to make a nice set of boots, leather underwear or a handbag for someone now. The meats good still with a bit of preparation done to it. Though rumors abound that these things eat other people so the risk might not be worth that. Hmm. Feeling good today though, just going to finish off drying in the sun and head back to town with my new pair of boots and more.

Day Nine

Kade punched the tree hard after he had left S'ren Ja for a brief time. He took a deep breath as he turned and slid down the tree trunk in frustration and rubbed his head with the bloody-ragged gauntlets. Smearing the blood of nearby Bandits he had entrapped into attacking him across his face.

He dug out his Journal and ink-pot and began to write in it. His hands shaky from the adrenaline still rushing through his body, the page getting small blood droplets on it. His writing was non-the-less extremely fluid with the artfulness of a higher education that came from home.

Today Qa'iit left, because everyone was on him for ordering Ainoath to be killed. He went nuts and attacked someone but didn't harm anyone or so I heard. Stupid! Nobody bothered to stand up for Qa'iit and when Sylva came down Ri'sari promoted him! Not good, nobody stood to even inform Ri'sari of what they'd seen. This needs to be stopped here and now. I know Sylva is up to something and Ri'sari is to blind by his trust to see it. It's pathetic! Well, I'm current Guard Captain for now until this fight ring. We'll see how it runs from there.

Kade slumped against the wall in the Clanmothers house, his hands having been wrapped in bandages all the way up to his lower forearms to cover the skin that was extremely sensitive since it'd been ripped off from armour that had fused to it during the healing process. His chest and abdomen had also suffered the same fate with bald patches spread out, bandages wrapped around to keep them covered until the fur regrows.

Day Ten

Today has been one of the worst days I've lived through, we had a re-formalization of the Guard and handed out tabards for everyone. We got a fair few people in and its amazing. After that a bunch of Thalmor assassins attacked Ri'sari at the river and he was brought back in a critical condition. Soon after the Thalmor inquisition showed up and they demanded various people from us. It culminated into a fight that ended with allot of wounded and them dead. One building completely destroyed, a large hole in the tree.

My injuries were severe from my understanding.. my armour had been fused to my body in places where the lightning discharge shot up my blade, shattering it and warping the metals. Not fun as it was ripped from my body when someone errantly healed me with the armour still intact. My hands are bandaged, as are my forearms and the areas where the metal was removed. It was a torture no one should ever endure. As soon as I'm able to move about properly and get myself going I will get new armour and a new weapon. Kath and I had a chat later on which ended on a fairly decent note though I need to talk to Zura soon. I have a feeling there's something special between Kath and Zura. I saw his face as well, behind the mask. Nice eyes, though from a distance he might look like Sylva's twin. That would be an entertaining mix-up.

Kade waited outside the Mages guild in Vulkhel Guard where he had a friend examining the shattered sword fragments. Seeing if an artificer could work a bit on it and reforge it or even make use of some of it. Whilst he waited he hauled out his Journal, a list of items he needed to get sat on a page and he grabbed out the rest of his writing utensils and began to write a Journal.

Day Twelve

Today started pretty bad, but ended on a very good note! After a talk with Kath we have decided to start I guess the term would be..dating! As he put it, Very exclusive. I am fine with this! Course I have no experience in this but a few books maybe and a spot picked out and maybe something to drink and a snack. It might be cool! We're taking things slow and seeing where it leads, its also a secret though with my journal written in my code and with that weird ink I should be fine writing it here. I find him quite striking and to be honest without the helmet and well.. armour he is quite a looker. I hope this goes somewhere good. In the mean time I will be making a few things, namely the safe version of Clanmothers Cordial. Its an old drink mix I got taught by a Khajiit tribe in the south. Strong Nomads. The alcoholic version would knock the most stout on their backside, of course brewing it wrong and you get something akin to Skooma though with rather...unpleasant effects. Hopefully the day goes well and we can make good connections!

Day 62

Kade walked into his office later that night after the conflict and Donvyn's healing that had been applied to him. The window was melted and bits of glass littered the floor where it had coalesced into glass beads on the floor and solidified. The table was missing though thankfully it never contained anything aside from papers on it. He had incinerated the table outside since it had been shattered into splinters on impact and now looked around the sparsely decorated building and sighed. He looked in the Mirror that was off to one side.

His body had blood all over it, his face had blood nearly all over the left side of it and down his neck and over the armour and even under it where it had seeped through. His eye was still closed from the dry blood that had gotten on it and such, allowing him only limited depth perception and field of view. He kicked off the other boot and threw the blood soaked one in his hand into the corner along with it to make a nasty pair.

He took a deep breath and moved over to a chair and sat down, peeling off his armour slowly and setting it aside where the bruising from his and Dar'Athads fight had taken a slight toll on him. He could taste and smell nothing but blood in the air and this did nothing to help him feel better. Stripping down naked he stretched out and felt his limbs crack a tiny bit and disappeared off to a side room to clean up. In the mirror he could see the blood and how it trailed down his body, a scene all to familiar to him in some ways. Frighteningly to familiar. The platinum chain around his neck with the large wolf's head tarnished with blood as did his Honor Guard Medallion stood out against the snow white fur whilst the crimson and brown of blood stood a stark contrast to the bright gold of his fur.

Carefully he picked up the pre-prepared pitcher of cold water and grabbed a face cloth and slowly began to clean his face. It hurt as he slowly, carefully wiped away the dried blood from around his face and eye, slowly he opened it as he cleared it off and noted how bloodshot it was. "Its going to take some time for that to heal..a few days at most.." He commented to himself as he continued getting the blood off his face and cleaned both neck chains without ever taking them off. A practice he'd perfected for some time. It was an eerie kind of silence in the room as he set the cloth down onto the side of the table and clenched his hand, feeling the shakes the anxiety come on.

"Drink, Brother." Came a familiar voice behind him. A potion sitting on the table where the cloth had been, the bottle was plain and unadorned as was the usual with Krajin. He picked it up and downed the liquid without a thought, trusting his brother and immediately felt the effects of calm. He felt the cold cloth work around his neck and leaned his head against the smaller mirror. "Thanks.. Brother.." Kade said quietly.

Krajin's expression in the mirror was as emotionless as ever in these times especially against the dark where the silhouette of his form and the glowing green eyes burning with a wrath that the sun would pale in comparison to. "Who did this?" Krajin asked as he cleaned down his younger brother's back and chest from all the blood. To anyone else this would look most certainly out of place but between these two and their bond of family it didn't matter what others thought of this. "The Temple Assassin Dar'Athad. You know of him I imagine, being the Paladins boyfriend."

Krajin flicked his left ear and continued cleaning the blood off Kade, his big brother protective instinct kicking in. Sure, Dar'Athad was here to be a complete douche bag to Krynger, that was a bad mistake but he wouldn't act as Kryn was a man of his own. However.. what got him burning was when someone fucked with his brother. He had no qualms informing Kath of the golden rule Break his heart, I break your neck. Now the Platinum rule was enforced Fuck with my family, I fuck with your life. Krajin helped his younger sibling to sit down and set a bucket of soapy water down that had a few of Kade's favourite oils in it and set a few clean cloths and a towel to the side. "Clean yourself, Kade. Tell me how he fought."

Kade sighed as he picked up the cloth and began cleaning himself, the scent of the oils reminding him of home, his childhood. Lavender, mint, rose. "He opened with two daggers, I'd assume poisoned in some fashion. Followed up with a Sword and Axe, wielding them as a pair. Axe to attack, sword to defend. Sometimes switching them up. Then uses a smoke device to escape if he's backed up."

Krajin nodded and got up "Stay safe. Your face will be sore for awhile, whomever did the healing did a good job of it. Rest." Krajin said and stood up, meshing his fingers together he vanished into thin air.
