Sama Do’Shurh’do
Early Twenties
Khajiit Nightblade
Her fur, being dotted by grayish brown spots and splashes, is tan in color. Her chestnut hair reaches her shoulders; her ears adorn three golden earrings on each ear. A single scar presides across her nose, and many scratches appear to dot her face. Her dark green eyes and the sly curvature of her mouth show a devious side that loves partying and tricks.
Rumor: An always positive cat who will very rarely admit defeat. Her love of games and her childlike curiosity can sometimes get her into trouble. She is known to be rather stealthy, and may quietly slip away when uncomfortable or in tight situations.
Background: Coming from the faraway lands of the Alik’r, Sama grew up in a small khajiiti merchant caravan with her brother, Do’Maadrul. She spent her time collecting reagents and runes that she would experiment with to try to find their hidden meanings. When not exploring the area around the campsite, she would help her mother cook for the hungry traders and the few guards within the caravan. Whenever there was a lake or river nearby, she would attempt to catch fish with her paws (fish being a favorite meal of hers, along with moon sugar cookies) to bring back to her mother to cook up. Sama was several years of age when she traveled with the caravan. It was a life that she enjoyed to the fullest.
One night, when the caravan was far from any civilized area, a group of Worm Cult Necromancers attacked. Sama had been with her mother cooking at the time when a tall, altmer woman struck down her mother right in front of her. Gazing over her mother’s lifeless body, something inside her snapped. Filled with anger and fear of what could happen to her, she grabbed the blade in which her mother had used to cut produce, and sunk the blade into the cultist’s chest repeatedly. Hearing the moans of the undead nearing and sure that everyone she had ever known was dead, she stood and faced what she had done, knowing more fanatics were soon to come. Clutching the knife that her mother had used so often when teaching her how to cook, Sama quickly grabbed a satchel with a sack of gold and a bit of food, and ran.
About: Brandishing dual swords and a wooden recurve, Sama sports a full set of medium armor crafted beautifully by her brother, whom she reunited with later in life. Her usual company consists of her own mind and animal companions, Vigil (horse) and Dar’Shug (monkey). Although Sama tends to be quiet and reserved unless specifically spoken to, she will not turn you away if you approach her. She may seem hesitant at first, but all it takes is showing an effort for friendship to open her up. She may begin offering you things, or asking about you and your interests. Her curiosity pushes her to know more about other people and find connections between herself and others. Caring very deeply for her close friends and remaining family, she considers protecting the ones she cares for her highest priority. Sama is VERY childlike and loves to take part in games.
