A discussion opened in guild chat, and many were talking about how stamina builds were generally thought of as terrible. I mentioned that I enjoy mine, and the play style that comes with it, and offered to share it. So here it is.
I ask that you not "attack" it or gripe here about how much better another build is. There are many ways of playing the game, depending on what you want to get from it. This is a great build for solo play, and I do some respectable damage in dungeons too. It allows me to enjoy the game while playing a single-target assassination style character.
Sumar's Duel Wielding build
I primary use the first bar shown. Depending on fights, I swap in some of the spells shown on the second bar.
Combat goes as follows: (If you crit your opener, the fight is done)
Sneak up on target for a sneak attack power attack. (I like to use a two hander, then swap for the big hit)
If you cannot because they are facing you, begin with Shadowy Disguise and open with Concealed Weapon.
Rapid Strikes while they are still stunned, which also increases your combat haste.
Shadowy Disguise again and open with Concealed Weapon.
Rinse and repeat (though you seldom need to.)
Need health? Swallow Soul.
Need to finish off that mob over there with a fraction of life left? Assassin's blade.
Tactics:
Stay focused on a single target, preferably the mages/archers. Be ready to interrupt always. And keep an eye on the big guy with a big sword to parry/stun him when his swing comes in.
Walk away with their loot, go right into the next group without a need to wait on regen.
Gear/Extra Notes:
I use 5 pieces of Night's Silence, and 3 of Seducer. Glyphs are for mana/stamina equally. Jewelry is reduced feat cost with magicka. I use weapon power/crit/stam regen potions and food when I get serious. I typically use two swords for the increased damage, since you get plenty of +crit using this build already.
