Race: Khajiit

Flair: Deep scar over right eye. Not fond of long hair, so she has none of her own. Multiple ear piercings. Strange marking in her fur pattern above the base of her tail; it looks similar to the 2 moons, Secunda and Masser, with a peculiar 3rd moon peeking from behind.

Rumors: Serrani is a very far descendant of Rid-Thar-ri'Datta, a Mane who brought peace amongst the Khajiit eons ago in an old time of war. Her family has been protected since The Mane's first litter, the race hoping to maintain the rare bloodline as they allow generations to pass while praying for the next Mane.

Background: Serrani was born under Secunda in it's newest phase, causing her to be a petite member of the race called a Dagi. Being born at this time of the moon allowed her to be more accustomed to magic and very agile. Her mother was a Senche named Sar'kreena who was often deployed as a steed for others. Her father was a Suthay-raht named Luarmos who had been on a visit to Elsywer as a detective by the Thalmor to investigate a rapidly growing, and illegal, skooma buisness. During his stay, he went under a guise and called himself Reywyn wherever he roamed; dying his fur and changing his hairstyle. When he needed transport to a nearby dock to infiltrate one of the suspected skooma-trade ships, Sar'kreena was provided as his mount. The journey was a long one, and the 2 bonded over the time they travelled. From then on Luarmos would request Sar'kreena at the deployment stations and she would remain for as long as she could unless she was called, and she always left a note if she had to service someone else. With time they fell in love and Luarmos shared everything with her, and his real purpose for arriving in Elsywer. After solving his last case, Luarmos quit his job working for the Thalmor, Sar'kreesa got a release from being a mount, and the 2 settled down in Torval before giving birth to Serrani.

Serrani was an energetic young kit who enjoyed playing in the forest. She would play tag for hours on end as she teased her friends from the tree-tops and jumped from limb to limb. She had been the only Dagi born into the small village, and so when she cast her first spell nobody was more surprised -- and slightly devastated -- than she. Her parents had expected it sooner or later, but what they hadn't expected was for Serrani to burn a third of the village down with one weak ember. After the small disaster, a bitter old Altmer-- and old Thalmor friend of Luarmos' who had also retired-- arrived within the next 2 months and agreed to tutor Serrani in the ways of magicka. He had been notified via letter about Serrani being born as a Dagi, and as the only one in Torval. Luarmos had inclined to Sar'kreena that he didn't know a mage better suited for teaching her than Freyiln Direnni on the day of his arrival. With his Altmer pride swollen, he immediately began teaching the young kit magicka, and all of it's numerous branches. They trained for a few years. One day when Serrani was 16, the beaming sun attacking them both, she begged Freyiln to allow her to put on her swimming attire to help her cool off arguing that fur was warm enough without her heavy robes baking her alive. After consideration the old man agreed and Serrani sighed with relief. Upon returning the High Elf grasped her wrist firmly as she walked past before asking, "Turn around." Caught a little unaware Serrani blushed and turned, tucking her tail as firmly against her as possible. Freyiln suddenly reached out and wrapped his pale fingers tightly around the base of her tail and pulled it back. Serrani let out a yowl before turning and swiping at the Altmer with her claws and hissing, he ripped a small elven dagger from beneath his cloak and struck back. His dagger etched into her cheek and brow, luckily missing her eye. She quickly covered it saying, "Yoo purrverted old man! I am not some sorrt of toy forr yoo to play weeth!" and she sprinted for the woods. She hid there for a couple of weeks, having remembered all too late that Freyiln had yet to teach her anything from the Restoration school. She used herbal remedies to relieve the pain, but once her parents finally found her, it was too late to heal the scar. She was escorted back to the village where Freyiln furiously waited for his student to return. Upon her arrival, the Altmer stormed over causing Serrani's ears to pin back against her and for her to bare her fangs. He began to rage on about some sort of rare marking as his language drifted between Common, Dwemer, and Altmer. Suddenly Sar'kreesa loosed a fearsome roar causing everyone in the village to stop in their tracks, she stated to the elf, "Calm yoorself and tell us what yoo're rrambling about." He explained that he wasn't trying to progress on Serrani, but said that there was an interesting and rare birthmark he found at the base of her tail after she put on her swimming attire. He said he studied the mark over her course of Serrani's absence stating only those with a direct bloodline to the 1st Mane had the marking. After interrogating her parents, Freyiln found the same marking on Sar'kreesa, but had failed to mention why he had asked her to roll in every direction before he was satisfied.

After the discovery of her marking, Serrani went on training under Freyiln for years in the small village of Torval before one fateful day arrived where a strange Altmer arrived with an oddly armored group behind him. They looked rather official but bore no markings of the Empire or the Thalmor. The man claimed himself to be called Mannimarco and Freyiln seemed to have a very strong disliking for him for reasons Serrani would never understand. After their conversation, the man smiled before burrowing an enchanted dagger through Freyiln's abdomen and signaling his soldiers to grab Serrani. She never knew how many of her friends were taken that day, or if her parents still lived. Her head was covered with burlap and she was forced to walk alongside the menacing group in chains. Mannimarco spoke to her, "You shall be a delightful addition, I'm sure my Lord will be very pleased." She heard a maniacal laughter through the fabric that suffocated her. She yelled, "Yoo High Elfv bastarrd! I don't know what yoo're up to, but I will avenge Frreyiln!" She pounced to her left where she had heard Mannimarco speaking, she managed to knock him over and was able to identify him as he shouted, "Damnation! Get this filthy cat off of me!" If her head had not been covered she would have spat on the man's face. They traveled silently the rest of the way before finally her burlap was removed. Fatigued and starving, she looked around as her vision blurred and the noises seemed to be bouncing off of a faraway cave. She was forced onto a cold stone before she got one clear sight of Mannimarco before he shoved a dagger into her, then she saw nothing, only darkness. She awoke in a small confinement with many scattered bones around her.

She had awoken in Coldharbour, and during her sacrifice had lost all knowledge of magicka and her past. Now she ventures forth into Tamriel with the Prophet, hoping to restore her former self.

(OMG such a long story. I don't why I feel the need to put unnecessary details :p )

(I may add more later...?)
